Hi friends, the thing written above is a very common saying... Many people have different opinions on what this saying really means... But according to me , it specifies leading in everything, being confident in saying and being heard by all. According to some people it means to be selfish, according to some it means ego, some feel its meaning is being brave but the real meaning is not clearly spread between all.. I am too not sure that what i am saying is true or not, but still i feel that the meaning might be this only.. What do you think about this and please specify your opinions??? happy posting

You have a very sensible explanation being offered here. I think that you have made it clear that you are you alone and no one else can take your place in this world as you yourself. I believe that your opinion about this matter is right and proper. My youngest child has pinpointed this to me long ago. He told me that i am irreplaceable as I am. Such an idea never crossed my mind before. I used to think that my existence in this world does not really matter at all. Well, I am now convinced that I do matter to people that I care for and for those who have the heart to have some care for me, too.

Whenever I say this it is typially because I'm alone and someone asks who I'm with. This is my response not to be a smart butt but becasue it is only me but because I am content being all by myself..

The first time that I encountered this phrase, I thought to myself: 'Oh, how self-centered is the guy who has said this'. But, as time went on and I have come to think deeper into it, my understanding became more and more intricate. The phrase can be seen in so many different angles depending upon the view of the one who is at it for me time being. There are so many sides to one's self. We cannot view ourselves as one and the same person at all times. When we become pensive, we become aloof and a deep thinker and cannot even notice the people around us. When we are at the height of happiness and feeling so confident, we are very optimistic about life and nothing can just go wrong at all. When we are downtrodden, we become fighters as we feel the need to fight for our dear place on this wide world. This phrase simply represents the many sides to our personality. May we always be working on those sides with the right attitude in life. Which is, that we are always winners and blessed being around here at this time. Have a good day, eshaan, you are my dear, dear friend.
