New to MyLot

Hello
I am new to MyLot and so I am just learning my way around and looking at discussions and for new friends. I would like to make friends based on common interests. My hobbies are my home, bead work, crocheting, reading, my cat(furbaby), some knitting, and various other hobbies. I like to travel some. Go to garage sales, flea markets, watch movies, and chat with my friends. I am also looking for ways to supplement my income so I hope to get real active here. Hey, welcome to MyLot! I just joined yesterday so I'm pretty new to it myself. What kind of cat d you have? Mine is a monster, well a tabby but she's a monster too haha. Do you have any flea markets in your area? If you do I envy you so much, I just got started on going to them last year but there aren't any in my area.
From what I've heard, MyLot can be a great way to earn money but I don't know for myself yet. There are plenty of sites you can work on to earn some extra cash, what kind of things would you like to do? I may be able to help you figure some out, I've been doing different sites and writing about them on my blog which is on my profile.
I'd love to be friends and continue discussing various things with you so feel free to shoot me a friend request, and once again welcome!

I suggest you to find the interests that are related to your hobbies and to participate into the discussions started there. This way you'll find people that share the same interests as you. Ask for their friendship if you realize you have something in common.
If you like to discuss, you'll enjoy this site very much!

Hi, Joni, welcome to MyLot. I see you already have some enthusiastic responses. I will have to say you have joined in the middle of a glitch, and so things are not quite normal. That is okay, just go around responding to people, for instance check the profiles of people who have posted to your discussion and respond to some of their discussions. Normally, once you add friends you will be receiving notifications of their discussions, and you will get notifications when people respond to your discussions. As another poster said, be sure to read the guidelines and faq section. You will do well. I have even met some of my MyLot friends in real life. What kind of bead work do you do? You can describe it and upload a picture to your discussion. There will be lots of people suggesting ways to earn here. Good opportunities will be around always, and then there are opportunities that turn out not so well. I hope you have a wonderful time here.

You will love the MyLot platform. There are so many ways to make money over here. Responding to discussions, starting a discussion, completing tasks, adding photos, creating blogs all qualify you for points. Please be an active member here and set a goal you want to achieve. If you want to achieve payout, expect to put in at least 10 days each month. That means 1000 discussion posts each day. I think you will strive here. It is the best way to see and share your thoughts with the world.

You know, rovered, it is important to do quality posts here. I cannot see how any one could do 1000 posts a day, or even 100. What you can do is be very detailed in what you post and have fun making new friends. I have in the past had goals, but there is a lot more to earning than just watching those points roll in. I try to come here every day for a little while. Most months I easily make payout. I traveled some this month already and so I may not make it this time, but that just means there will be more next month.

Hi joni, I'm also new here in MyLot..just joined today and have no friends here yet. It's good to know that there are new here and want to have friends. I love reading books, and i appreciate art works a lot. I like cross-stitching and crocheting as well. I love dogs, but we don't have one at the moment. I hope we could get one in the future. My family loves dogs, we adore those cute little puppies. Have a great day! :)

I have sent you a friend request.. I read quite a bit when I get a chance. Sees like sometimes I spend all my time online though. I have so many friends on other sites and it's hard to keep up lol...I have crocheted since I was 6 and cross stitch is still new to me. What sort of things do you crochet and what sort of cross stitching? You make pictures of scenery or what? I would love to one day make a set of those Guardian Angels but that is very advanced and I am not sure I will get there. I make small pics for now. I just got done crocheting 2 afghans. I baby and 1 regular. I have started another baby afghan. My goal is to make baby afghans for a group who donates them to a hospital for needy moms. I also make crocheted scarves and pass out in the winter to homeless people I see. I make sweaters too and all sorts of stuff. I like dogs but kitties are my favorite.

Welcome to MyLot! You will love it here. It is a great way to earn some extra money just for posting your thoughts and ideas. You will learn so much here, that you will forget about the earnings and it will just be a bonus.
Whatever brought you here to this site, you'd be surprised that it's actually something else.
It's a lot of fun, and there are some interesting discussions, and people here too. Of course, the earnings is a plus!

Yes it is best to request friends who have the same interests. This way both can interact back and forth in discussions to help one another out.
Supplementing your income is great, but do keep in mind that we do not earn for the responses we get in our discussions. You will further earn if you comment back to all your responders. Thought I add this tip as not responding you are missing out on some earnings for you. Earnings in myLot are for our own efforts as long as we keep quality in mind.
Respond to others discussions also and this will be you applying effort and earning as well.

Joni, Welcome to Mylot.. it can be a fun and interesting place to learn and teach at the same time. Many people are here with many different discussions on oh so so many subjects.
One thing I do suggest though is make sure you read the guidelines in all areas about the site. You will find that some discussions you may reply to disappear, that means the discussion was deleted by Mylot for what ever reason. It happens. It is just apart of the way the program works. So Please read the guidelines for your own understanding of how things work.. You also can ask many members too.. You will get answers to questions about the program here..
