Good sites to get paid for writing articles

I enjoy writing very much, but I was wondering about sites that pay for writing articles. I used to write for Associated Content but they changed a lot and I gave up writing for them. What are some other good sites?

I think that you can make a good profit from any website that you use, as long as you know the tactics for each one. The method that you use should very much depend on the type of payment that you hope to receive from the website. If you get paid per views, then it is important that you write things that people would want to share and show their friends. You should also see where else you could post the links to your articles, however it is important that you don't spam; include your links into discussions which are topical, and people will be much more likely to want to read them then.

Helium is a terrific writing site and Demand Studios is excellent.

I love helium and its payments each month for rating help get you to the cashout minimum which is pretty low.

There are LOADS of sites. The real question is what kind of writing do you want to do? Direct to client? Rev share? Marketplace? Depending on the model, there are some pretty good alternatives around. If I may be so bold, I'll suggest going here: http://scrawlbug.com/2011/09/11/freelance-writing-back-to-basics/ (Not a referral) That series looks at the different options and ends with a list of resources (sites, obviously) where you can earn, though it's not all of them since I only know the biggies. Off the top of my head, if you're going rev share I'd say HubPages (though that's just personal experience of earning about 5x as much as from AC/Helium there); if you're going direct it's the bidding sites. As you may have guessed, freelance writing's what I do. I'm no pro but I've been around the block (2-3 years of doing this). If I can be of any further assistance, just shout!

Why don't you try triond and squidoo. They are both good for revenue sharing. I know you can make it happen into that two site...

I think there are other sites like triond. I heard they pay well for the written articles.

I use triond, they dont pay much but if you write a lot your earnings will add up. Triond pays based on the views your work gets.

I use Triond but I'm still stuck on the .20 mark so I kinda gave up with that site.

I wrote a couple of things for Associated Content. They were so good, I had forgotten about them until I read this! I did, for a while, write for Suite 101. That was OK but I tended to get a lot of "spammy" comments and also they require so many articles within a certain time frame. I now only really write for Helium http://www.helium.com/users/420203 That's OK. They pay a little but not very much. You can write all sorts, creative and factual. There are also other way to earn extra like competitions and stuff.

A site that is very good is Hub Pages and they are constantly trying to improve things to make them better. One can write about any topic and one can also include pictures, videos and links. I have already been with them for four years and I like them very much, even though their payment is not that good.

List My Five is a bit different but fun. You make original top five lists and post. It's not a big money maker but fun to do and takes very little time to do a list daily. Triond is another site. If you would like a referral please pm me. You can post articles, poems and photos here. Again, not a big moneymaker. Examiner.com is another site. I can refer you that one as well. You have to apply for a position here within the open categories. Good luck.

I guess Triond will do for you. They don't pay that much but if you'll have a lot of articles you'll be earning even though you won't visit it everyday.
