My method to deal with stressful situations is to go punch somebody in the face, lol just kidding. I would say I just vent to my parents and or listen to music or watch TV. I just try to destress myself and look at the situation from another person's point of view. That always helps me. I try to cool down, even if I don't and am extremely on edge it still will go away eventually. I would suggest to try to write, sing, listen to music, watch a film, or talk it out with someone, really any method that works for you to help you relax.

I really like my computer and going to say, yes, I find reading and even mylot does at times, does make me somehow feel good and I am even happier that it is online where I actually do not meet people. Why is that I wonder? Maybe I like the way I look - laughing. Seriously, a good joke does wonders.

yes! laughing is definitely the best medicine. I always love my comedy shows, I just got into a british show that my friend from England told me about, Outnumbered, it's brilliant. I even showed an episode to my dad earlier because I love it so much. Most of my favorite comedy shows are english, Peep Show, Inbetweeners. Whenever I need a laugh I watch those shows or anything with Kathy Griffin.

My days at work get very stressful at times. By the time I get back home, I feel so exhausted and stressed out. One of my favorite ways to be relieved os the stresses is listening to my favorite music, classical in particular. I also practise meditation every evening. That also helps relaxation, physical and mental.

When i get stressed the very first thing that i do is say a prayer asking God to help me deal with the situation, then i close my eyes and take a few deep breaths.

I have a lot of stress when the bills are coming and the checks are not coming! To stay away from worries, i go to my mom's house and indulged myself with eating with my sibling who cooks well. Eating is my pastime and it helps me relax and stay calm.

I had always been stressed at work, and going to a SPA helps a lot. Sometimes I go there for a massage, sometimes to get a body scrub, and it never cease to make me feel relaxed after each session.

This is a hard one. Stress is all around us and it can consume you if you let it. I try to take a break from it - take a walk - walk around the office if I cannot go outside - take a drive by myself. Sometimes I just need to distance myself from the issues and breathe.

@TrvlArrngr, Being conscious that stress build up is bad & taking whatever measures feasible is a good way to remain fit to keep going. Thanks for commenting.

Hi! Stress is a very normal thing for us. What I do to relieve myself from stress is taking a break.Meeting with my friends or spending sometime with my family. Surround yourself with people that will support and care for you.

Since I am very busy, too much things to do and too less hours a day/night I slow down. Sounds weird but it is the only way that works. Certain things I have to do and are necessary, other things can wait of I have to do parts of it time by time. I use a schedule for that (what to do when) and in very busy times I schedule time for reading a bit, watching some tv or lay down for a while or go on the internet (but all for a certain time). I also try to eat as healthy as possible and try to go to bed earlier during those periods. It's useless to work day and night to get things done, since I will get tired anyway and am less productive.

@WakeupKitty, I can see your point that you manage to build some form of relaxation in your schedule to keep you going. Its true that we have to avoid succumbing to overwork and becoming fatigued. Thanks for comment.

It is really true in our daily life we cannot escape into different kinds of stressful stimuli. However, If we will mind all these stuffs we will find ourselves too preoccupied with stress and will tend to forget that it will just pass by if you will deal with it into the right way. In my case, my intervention for those stresses is just keeping a positive outlook, Keep on smiling and find a peaceful spot in your place in order to have some meditation for a couple of minutes or hours. Or, maybe it is good to have an honest friend whom you be trusted with your problem "share it so that stress will be broken into pieces.
