After completion of our study, a bosom friend of mine was married to an engineer settled in the USA from where she used to send me letters. Initially the exchange of letters was very frequent but gradually it came down and at present it is absolutely nil. The reason was that the internet was not then available and telecommunication was not so much advanced. In the mean time, I have changed my residential address and not sure whether or not she has also changed her residential address. Recently I found out an old letter from her. The letter was written in the vernacular and its translation in English is as follows; ‘May I have parted with you–still my heart is left there with you – and I strongly believe that the earth is round and we will meet again’. I also do believe that the earth is round but not sure whether or not we will meet again. Have you too any such experience in life?

Actually I believe if you know her real name and her married name as well her husbands name, I believe you can find them through the internet. Especially if he is an engineer, that almost guarantee's they have internet and computers in the home.
Yes, you may see each other, destiny doesn't show us ahead of time what is going to be, we can hope. I do know that if you search enough you will find away to contact her through an online source. Have you tried Facebook, useing her names or his? You never know who you will find.

It's a classic thing that happens to many people for many different reasons. People loose touch, some run into them again, some hear form them on the phone after a long while. But something like this, unless the other person, or you are diligent enough to want to find each other. Yes, the world is round, but that does not mean that one of you are going to roll around the planet. I am sure you both think about each other from time to time.

I happened to live in another city near where I live now when I was young. I had a good friend that I spent alot of time with. Her family was moving and she promised to write. The day came and it was sad to say good bye but she promised she would write. I never heard a word from her.

Hello I have not any experience of it. But it is my believe that if two person want to meet each other and they should be meet one day. We have connection of heart to heart. So friend it right you must be meet with her in future. Because she want it honestly and by heart.

After leaving school 50 years back i completely lost touch with most of my classmates. after getting the computer and internet 6 years back i started a search for my friends and managed to locate at least 20 of them.since 2008 we have been meeting each other once a year at my house.Yes, we do lose connectiions with friends and relatives but some way or the other we do meet each other at some time in our lives.As you say the earth is round.

I'm also have experience like your experience. Long before the facebook exist , I lost contact with school my friends. After I joined in the facebook, not until a year, I can rediscover old friends and even we could hold a reunion. It was incredible and this is the magic of the internet, not because the Earth is round
