How long does it take you to clean your house?

I was reading an article on Yahoo about cleaning your house in 30 minutes or less. What this article did not say was how big the house was or how many kids and pets you had. But it did have some good tips that most people probably do every day anyway. Tips like loading the dishwasher after each meal. Duh? Who wants dirty dishes around. And wiping down tables and tv like during commercials and stuff. So I was wondering how long does it take you to clean your home?

hi stacymomstl if a general cleaning on my house it takes me a day but if not general cleaning it takes me only uhmm 6 hours cleaning the sala room cr by just a mean of sweeping the floor and map , and also the carpet cleaning also the cr and my room

Well I usually clean my room every morning and during afternoon. My brother messes everything. He throws his clothes here and there, wears his muddy shoes all around the house and similar stuff. It takes about 2 hours to clean all the things.

The cleaning in the morning usually take about an hour. But i continue to mob through out the day because of my two kids. They are still very small and are always throwing things around and pouring things on the floor.

It takes me about 3 hours to clean the entire house. We have many pets and they always make a mess, but I love them and I don't mind cleaning up after them. I usually find dog toys all over the floor in living room as well as dirty socks that the dog has "stolen" from the laundry basket 
It also takes me a while to clean the room where the rabbits and guinea pigs live, because the floor is full of hay from the cages. The rest of the rooms don't take that long to clean, I just sweep or vacuum the floors, remove the dust and clean the bathroom and the kitchen.

I can say that this habitual activity may take 3 hours to complete clean of furniture, floor and windows if you have 2 rooms, a hall, a bathroom and a kitchen.

We do clean our home everyday so it takes only a minute to clean it since it was nicely clean and decluttered every time.I use to clean our bathroom before i take a bath everyday. If you could just clean everything that you did from time to time there is no troubled that you had to clean it the next day. There is also a golden rule on our home: "you messed it, then you clean it". hope this helps!

I think it takes about 2 hours. I have a small apartment, but we also have a toddler helping us, so it can take even longer sometimes.

With two kids around, it takes me almost 2 hours to clean the mess they have created in each room first and then the other cleaning. But if they are at home then they too help me by cleaning the mess they create and thus I end up cleaning the home in another 45 mins to 1 hour's time. In general, we just wipe off the dust accumulated in the TV or on any other place whenever we see it as we have a dusting cloth in every room.

OMG I live with my significant other and that is all. We have a three bedroom two bath house. It takes me about two hours to clean completely. That is dusting, cleaning each room entirely, sweeping and mopping. I try to keep up doing the week by sweeping at least twice and always cleaning the dishes after each meal. I will also wipe down the bathrooms at least once during the week. So its not all so much once Friday or Saturday comes when I have to do the entire house.

It takes me less than 30 mins to clean my house daily.
But,If I want to have a general cleaning all over the house like disposing few things that are not useful and cleaning up more mess, it will surely takes me a whole day to finish the whole house.
My kids are grown ups and they clean their rooms,so, I don't need to clean all their mess every now and then.

Well, in case. It would take 3 days to clean or have that "general cleaning". It is so because our house s kind a big and I have a brother having a special health condition thus, He needs special care. I am just the only one doing the laundry twice weekly, washing the dishes every after meal and sweeping the floor and the backyard and many more. Doing such chores were so exhausting into my part however, as long as you practice proper time management you can finish it all on time. Just enjoy doing so.
