Uncle side please!

Hello Ravalarun, You should have told that boy at that monent that you are not uncle. I remembered incident from it. Once i was going in city bus once boy told Aunty to a girl who literally fought with that boy saying how dare he called me that. As far as i am concerned i don't mind if someone says me grandpa hehehe

Hi, was it a mistaken identity or the boy just called you uncle, the word that made you somehow mad? I have been called uncle several times by young boy and girls, that is the word we use if we don't know someone here in my country.. in fact its considered a polite and respectful word to use when referring to an older guy. There is nothing wrong with that unless whatever that got you mad.

What is so bad on this? The situation is also not so clear. You may be on the roads and some child passing you must have asked you to give side as there is not much place enough to pass over. I don't know how old you are and for the boy, you may be look a well fitted young man and what is wrong in calling you uncle. It was so sad that I was unmarried, and I used to stay as a paying guest along with a family for 2-3 years. The house owner, he was about to retire (may be at the age of 56-57) used to call me UNCLE!! As I call him uncle, he call me also uncle. It was so terrific whenever he call me uncle infront of some other people. Even his wife and children also used to call me the same way. I didn't met him for last 7-8 years, but if I get a chance to meet him again, I am sure that he will call me UNCLE....
