Do you know what you want?

I believe that happiness comes from getting what you really want. The problem is that many people do not know what they REALLY want. They think they want something but when they get it they still want more. What do you really want?

it is absolutely right. Most people really understand what they really want, however, they really do not understand what they should do after they have got what they want. It is so common that all people are greedy.

Oh, you are a happy person, steph, if that is all that you want. Happiness is a matter of outlook in life. Meaning, happiness is within everyone's reach. Up to this moment, i am drowning in misery and yet, without doubt, I am leading a happy life. I am happy that all of my three kids have grown up well and good. I managed to give them proper discipline. They are very loving and very kind and so having them around just simply makes me happy. As for losing weight, I have lost a good amount from 72 kilograms I am now at 56 to 58 depending upon how I eat in the evenings. There are times when I just simply eat quite a little too much in the evenings and so it makes me a little heavier within a few days thereafter. Dieting just simply means increasing fluid intake and fruits and vegetables. All fibrous fruits and vegetables are very low in calories. Never make yourself hungry while dieting. Feed yourself in small amounts with fibrous fruits and vegetables and take a lot of citrus fruit juices. warm fruit juices, not hot, dissolves the fats in the belly. Do light routine exercises in the early morning. Just have a good amount of sweat come out of your system and that will be sufficient. Never indulge in strenuous exercises. It does more harm than good. You may have food intake in small amounts every two to three hours. When I go on a diet, I do eat every now and then. No-no to so much carbo though. I cut on my carbo intake...quite so much.

When I was younger it was hard to for me to figure out what I really wanted and how I wanted to live my life. That is one of the reason why I have tried many things and changed my plans pretty often. Today it is easier for me to figure out what I want. I want to live a good life with my husband, I want to work as an artist, I want to write books, I want to take classes, I want to be involved in voluntary work and I want to travel a lot. Travelling is something that has always been important to me and today it is still one of the things that make me very happy.

I believe that you have to be clear when setting goals. It has been proven that the more specific you are in setting your goal, the more likely you can achieve it. Like "I will lose weight this year". It should be "I would loose 5 lbs in 30 days". You should be clear about it. And in order for you to meet the expectation, you should be committed to it in order to succeed. Having a clear vision in achieving what you really want will make you see the glass as half full. And this is where happiness should begin.

Maybe I also do not know what I want But I know what I have to do basicly. when I feel I were wrong I ready to start from begining although I don't know what I want. By the time that I will know exactly what I want and at that I will try my best to reach my goal.

All I wanted was to play beautiful music with friends, catch up with my sleep, see hockey , and to find someone to love. In the course of 30 years or so , I have done them all!

Some of us will never understand why there are some people who never feels happy enough or gratified with what they get in life. This is true even among the very rich, among the so called billionaires or whatever may you name them. Yet, we can see some persons who have definitely so little in life, yet they are happy and contented about how they are. Believe me or not, all is because of what one went through while still a baby, while still an innocent child. Everything about happiness and contentment in general is rooted on how our parents brought us up in this life. If one is continuously showered with great, unending and boundless love, that one person will grow up to be one who is easily gets happy and feel contented. Because among the things that a loving parent plants in their children is getting contented with one's fill. I can still remember how my parents will impose so much discipline among all of us. Then they always take time to explain to us why there is a need for all of these. Greediness will grow in one's heart if not well disciplined. Contentment and happiness in life can never be ours. We are never to see another person who is doing better than us in anyway at all with envy and awe but, with happiness that they are doing good in life. Then we will have to try our best to be as good as they are if we cannot be better. We were made to understand that not all of us have the same measure. There will always be persons way better than us and there will always be persons way below us. So let us be thankful about how we are and do our best at all times to become good persons. People around us will always love to have good persons around them.

It is said that one of the secrets of a happy life is to ask yourself three questions, "Who am I, What do I want and How can I help." You must ask these questions every day since the answers often change. Blessings

HAPPINESS is nothing but a MYTH,a dream an elusive dream that no one in this world will ever have...in reality.A sad illusion manufactured by our creative imagination...A person will go leaps and bounds and endless pursuit to achieve happiness in life...... Nothing, absolutely nothing in this world can make anyone happy....you can have all the money in the world, successful career,a loving family and friends, being famous, and everything that one perceived to be the key to a happy life. We are all going to be in a constant struggle to find Happiness,It can never be found ever!.....Maybe in the afterlife.....MAYBE.It's an empty space that can never be filled.

I just want a happy and simple life with my family , to grow old with my husband, watch our daughter marry and have children. But to do that, we need money to just sit down in porch to watch it happen everyday as we grow old...

not happiness, but direction. when you know what you want, it gives you a direction. without which, with so many other ways inviting or seem to end in comfort and security, you just keep on going with how circumstances in life flow, and you keep forgetting where you want to go, or need to do. I guess many of us would suddenly get sad at one point when we realize we have little time in our own lives to learn who we are, what we want, or what we are good at and what we can do with it. Because i believe one part of happiness is being in control of your own life- meaning, you are not forced to do the job you don't like at all, just because you have to live and have some money to spend for your essential needs. but if in that example, someone knew early what he wanted, they could have spent their years to get the education and training for the career or competency they want to earn, so that after, they will be able to get higher paying jobs, or the kind of work they wanted or work their way up smoothly, or even if it's not easy, it will not be as hard, if the direction they want to go is set first.

Happiness is pretty board, everyone wants to be happy but people tend to just wish for happiness generally, we don't actually think specifically what we want to make us happy. Some people don't know what will make them happy so they just say they simply want to be happy in life whereas others say what currently or will make them happy. For me, I'm still studying in school and I'm in my final year now so my major exams are coming up soon which will determine what course and career I want to do. So I hope that I could do very well during my senior year and make my parents proud. I hope that I will be able to get a good score and get into the career that I want. I hope that I will be happy in my future and that all my hard work will eventually pay off. That is what will make me happy.

We people all want to be Happy every day of our stay on earth. What do I really want? The answer of this question is really simple; I want to empower people, Sharing what I have and helping them to grow and become a beter person is my goal in life. My review Professor told me this, If I really wanted to Empower people I should be a teacher but upon hearing this the word that immediately came out from my mouth is "NO!" and I said to him, I could empower them in my own special way as a nurse I cold teach them what is right and I could show to them that a an angel in the sick room I can be ultimately happy If I made a sick person smileand empower them to recover.

Happiness will always be the number one thing most people want but having the experiences I have had i my life, i truly believe my number one thing in life that I want (more than any money or love) is INNER PEACE. Its something alot of us forget about but its more important than we think. For me it goes hand in hand with happiness..those of us who may have it all but stil wonder why we are not truly happy...its most likely because you dont have inner peace. It took me sometime to really know what it was but I learned that its the single most important thing (or KEY) to real LIFE HAPPINESS :D It too me many yrs to figure it out, but at 37 I do finally have inner peace and Ia happier than I could ever imagine. Without it ,my life seems so incomplete!
