I often see people donig bungee jumping, sky diving and other adventure sports and wonder if it is really worth it . But considering that they have some training and wel equipped with safety measures it is understandable to do such things once a while. But on day to day basis , when i find the gals and boys hang out of the train just to show off with their balancing skills is ridiculous! ( we have trains with doors open here ) .I find this being reckless with your life. With festivals round the corner there are also cases of thefts from the opposite trains .This morning , I saw a girl in a not so crowded train cling on to the door with just two fingers! !She told me that the blast of air makes her feel great.... This, inspite of having been hit by a pole only last week!!!Thankfully the train had not gathered spped and she was not hurt badly... When will people learn?!

Those people are probably hooked on adrenaline rushes. Hard to say. Kicks are hard to find these days. And you know, I learned something else about folks like that. Some know they are not going to have long lives and they live it to the max every day.

Hello tgv I also think that life is much worthy than the adventures. It is okay if you want some adventure and do bungee jumping and other sports with full safety measures but what that girl did, it was completely foolish job.She should know that once if she got hurt bad that can make her physically unable for life long.Enjoy you life with whatever you want but before doing anything just think about this precious gift from that is life.

When I am in a tropical country I love to do snorkeling and I have done this with black tipped sharks and sting rays. I was shocked when an Australian wildlife specialist got killed by a sting ray. He had stayed safe around crocodiles and snakes. I have done para-sailing three times and it was fantastic. I felt as though I was flying like a bird in the sky. I landed on the beach, on the pontoon and on the boat itself. I choose not to go bungee jumping. At the moment on television I am watching Celebrity Coach Trip. They went white water rafting and that looked very scary. One man fell out the boat and got tangled on a tree branch before plunging into the water. He was crying and I don't blame him one bit. They went on a zip line across a canyon. It looked frightening and one lady got stuck half way. I like to feel safe but I like a moderate amount of adventure. The girl hangs out of the train and got hit by a pole. I guess it is adventure on a budget.

Oh my!! it would have been really disturbing after you saw that! But I guess television impact is always less compared to real life results!

the spice of life is into this adventure. people love risks. if they don't do them, they love to see other people take those risks. the thrill and fun of taking the risk of adventures are far beyond the actual measurements of risks involved. the act pushes the limits of human capabilities above the accepted standards. i admire these people who take the risks of adventures.

seeing others take risks can only give a minor % of the thrill qoutient.. But I think simuation softwares can do great to quench the thrill factors!

Life not just on the world - life are in the air and underwater... People are person who can't live without risks we like this feeling, we need something new, we can't stop now, we need grow up and think new things! I droved with auto stops 3000 km (and my mother doesn't know it, I tell just after). But this was one of the best things in my life... So risks are - needed feeling.

Maybe the part where you did not have any approval ( asking or informing you mom ) added to the thrill :D

Life is worth to be lived. Risks will always be there. Some people love to search their borders by bungee jumping or being a stunt man. To others it's already a risk to go outside or to have a blind date. A small part is addicted to taking extremely risks like your example. They will never learn because it's about the kick. They need to feel the adrealine in their body. They will never learn they will go on and on till they found what they need...

Answering your title, I think life itself is an adventure. But if you want to do some more to fill up your adrenaline and will make you happy. You should go for it. Life is short. We should enjoy every minute of it. But everything has limits. Although everyone has their own life to enjoy and has their own opinion or say on things, Not all of our decisions can be very good for us. It's not bad to set limitations for yourself. Be safe while having the adventure of your life. Don't just do things, Think before doing it but don't deprive yourself.

Does depend on the risk a great deal and what you really want to get out of your life. There are just going to be a lot of times where a lot of people really do take a lot of risks out there and they tend to get a lot of value out of their life. Then there are some people who take too much risk. They are really going to get addicted to the risk. Of course, living your life without really living your life is not the best thing. There is going to be a happy medium between taking too many risks and then not taking any risks. I think that so far in life, I might have taken risks in some ways, but they have been risks that have had great benefits to me. A lot of people tend to get addicted to the thrill and while it can be a feeling, it can also be dangerous.
