What do you get your MyLot inspirations?

What do you make or where do you go to get inspiration for your MyLot discussions?
They just come to me when I'm surfing, or sometimes something happens and I picture a discussion or question in my mind but I'm offline and plan to come here and start a discussion as soon as I can.
How do you get yours?

Although I do not start many usually it is just something that pops in my mind and or something that occurred recently in my offline life. I don't usually plan outside of assuring that when I do want to start a discussion here that I do so early in my log in session so I have plenty of time to comment back to them.
Sometimes there is a discussion in my mind and if it is later in the evening where I know I won't have time, then I usually leave it for the next time I find that I will have the time to spend on it.

I am a quilter so taht is the way i think of the discussions I start. I see a pattern and then chose the colors. Like when I use my dog, each dog has it's own behavior all I do is look at this with a sense of humor, and then write it down for all of you to enjoy.

I definitly comment on a lot more discussions then I actually start. I just have things that pop into my head and then I do a search to see if someone has already dont a discussion on it. If they havent then I start one. If there is already one then I comment on that discussion. Sometimes its just a discussion that I start about something that happened to me during the day. Like the one I just wrote was about something that went on when I was at my aunts house.

Oh all sorts of places. There are many times where I can really be in the middle of a conversation with someone and the topics talked about go in a certain direction, where in the back of my mind, I think that that would in fact be a good topic for a website such as myLot. There are times where a lot of conversations do give me fodder. Granted, I don't use it all but there have been more than a few topics that have come into being in that manner.
There there are just going to be a lot of times where I am just walking outdoors, going to the bathroom, or lying in bed. There are times where I have a lot of time to think, and there are just some random thoughts that go into my head. They are just stirring around, right about ready to break out for a certain topic. Providing of course I can remember then when I have a chance to get back on myLot. That is the tricky situation.

Yes! Sometimes it happens to me while going to the bathroom (blushed), taking a shower, cooking or playing with my pets, lol.
When the computer then it's not near me it's frustrating. I usually never forget the topic but then I log in here and think 'What was that discussion again?'
Ideas...it comes in the most unfortunate times.
Eistein actually had to lay down looking at the stars to come up with the relativity theory.

hi Katie hat's off to you, because even-though you are off line you still manage to think for ideas that you will be posted when you go online. Mylotters like you is like an inspiration for everybody here.
For me it is easy to response that to post a discussion, I just post if I need an information about it or I need any ideas of it. happy mylotting and keep on posting a discussion!

That is so sweet.
I don't actually write on a notebook or something wich I should cause it's like a new idea for a story for example, but it really comes in times that it's a shame to not have the computer close.

Hi katie: As a starter I usually find inspiration on my conversations with friends or when I read the news. When I get a question in my head or when I think I have found a nice subject to discuss with my friends I write it on my list who is being updated whenever I get a new idea and time after time I start a new discussion.

Where do I get my inspiration for my mylot discussions? That is a hard one for me because I can't think of things to post. I want to get all I can from this site and earn what I can.
