This is Dearra at the dance. Gorgeous, eh? I see my mom in her, among other things. (tear in my eye) So how do you cope with your little ones being all grown up and looking like that?

Wow, she looks older than she is. I suppose it was a great moment for her. I don't know your mother but I find an air of family with you.

She looks lovely. She also looks about 28, and a corporate lawyer... Her date, however, still looks about 12.

Pretty much my thoughts, too! Still, many boys do grow up eventually. Girls seem to be able to look much more confident at that age, even if they aren't really!

Wow... I love the little ones... Dawn, you are lucky to see her dance. I don't get to talk to babies much. You know I don't have any baby... :) You see your mom in her, that is really special and it generally happens that a child looks like Grandpa or Grandma.. I look like my grandfather and father... I have heard that since I was a kid... anyways, love for the little one.. Take care.. . Have a great time!!!

How pretty she is! I can well imagine that all sorts of feelings welled up in your heart at the sight of your little daughter who was dancing . she has grown up and is so promising,You are naturally full of sense of happy and sense of accomplishment. How much hard work have you put in for them?

For young people,It won't come home to them how much they owe to their parents until they become fathers or mothers.

Nope, can't imagine. Homecoming is an American thing, where the schools welcome the Alumni back.

Awwww . . . beautiful photo, Dawn! I can't even imagine my little ones at Dearra's age. My daughter had a play "date" with a boy from school recently - ha ha - at Chuck E Cheese. We had them take a photo together, well, not like a prom pic, but them playing at one of the Mario Brothers driving games - ha ha. She's only in 1st grade and I can't believe that. The little dude is turning 2 next month, and I can't believe that either. It all goes so fast . . .

Fortunately (or unfortunately), I have boys. So for me, it's I can't wait for them to be grown up. And live their own lives! The only issues I have, is that I see myself in my son. Specially the not-so-good side of me. She looks great dawn!

She is gorgeous and I can see a resemblance to you. It is hard to cope with them growing up. I love David but I am still having trouble adjusting to the fact that I am no longer first in Rachel's life. Would never tell her though.
