Fridays Are 'Free' Days!

Every day is just about a 'free' day for me since I am unemployed. I am a writer, so I try to spend my mornings writing. When I get on a role, then Saturday nights I send my manuscrpts out until early Sunday monring. Then, Sunday is my "free" day.

StephanieAnnC, Unlike you, I do not have a specific free day as most of my time is involved with traveling abroad and meetings with clients. Much of my free time would be in between transits or before I retire for the day in my hotel room. Most of the time, Fridays for me could also be traveling home or to another destination.

All days are 'free' for me since I am retired for about six years now. My daughter fixs meals and I am upstairs usually watching tv and working online. When I was working I would spend my free days sleeping and resting. My job was very complext so I needed to rest my mind. Glad I am not doing it anymore.

Well, as I'm out of work right now, everyday is pretty much a free day for me. Except for Saturdays, that is. That's when I go to school for my classes for my Master's Degree. But when I was working up until about a month ago, Fridays and Saturdays were my days off for a while.

In my previouse job, we worked 9 hours a day. And then we get every other Friday off. It was our 'free' day. It was like having a three-day weekend every other week. Although I loved it as I could sleep in a bit, it was also the day where a lot of chores needed to be done.

No free Fridays' for me unless I am on vacation...but I do like fridays! The beginning of the weekend! Hope you are enjoying your day of freedom!

School wise, Saturdays are my free days. By Saturday I've usually finished all my school work, but our classes begin on Sunday, so it starts all over. Some weeks I will wait until Monday to begin my school work, so that we can do family things like go out or whatever, but some weeks I will begin some of my work on Sunday to get it over with. As far as family goes, Sunday is my free day. It's the only day of the week my husband has off, so he lets me sleep in if we have no plans, and lets me do what I want all day while he handles the kids, cooking, and even some cleaning sometimes. As far as work goes.. it has varied. I have a new job now where I get weekends off, but I also have a second job where I've agreed to work weekends. I was working every single weekend for about a month and a half, but it got to be too much, so I told them I wanted my Sundays off, and will only work Saturdays. I also work a couple of week nights at that job as well. So I guess over all I'd say Sunday is my free day because I can choose to do whatever I want, and choose not to do school work if I want. But with working 2 jobs I tend to attempt to get started on my school work early because I worry I won't have enough time during the week.

Saturday is my free day, I have no work on Saturdays so I do the shopping on this day and I also to the parlor to pamper myself. I think there should really even just a day for freedom. We don't just work or study the whole week, we need to spend just a day to relax.

I bet you are glad it's Friday then..lol..I guess the most free day I have is on Sunday. I usually run my tail off all weekend getting my stuff done that needs to be done and then I relax on Sunday. It doesn't always work out like that but when it does..it's really nice.

saturday is usaully my free day. I don't to have to work any of jobs! I can get my laundry done,relax,do other stuff that I don't get during the week and sometimes run errands. It is also the day I can spend time with myself!

We are already in Saturday right now.(^^) For me Friday is the last day to work then I will have two days free of work- the saturday and sunday!!So usually I am more motivated when it comes to friday as we will off the next day!!(^^) Anyway enjoy your friday sis!!(^^)

Being that I am not working offline, Friday for me are like any ordinary day. I do remember working and looking forward to the end of Fridays as I was free on the weekends. Glad to hear that at least you do not have to get up early on Fridays and do as you please. Hope you had a wonderful Friday.

Unfortunately, I still have classes on Friday. The worst is that I have classes in the morning and at the afternoon. The days that I have for me is Saturday and Sunday, but usually I have tons of things to study in the weekend, because I didn't study during the week days.

Fridays are also my FREE DAYS. Before the start of the last school year, I asked to have Tuesdays and Fridays off so I could save on gas. Although my Tuesdays were not granted, my Fridays were and I LOVE having my Fridays off. I can do whatever I want. Sometimes I will work at one of my other jobs or run errands, other times I will visit my family and do laundry, but there are also times that I sit at home and do a whole lot of NOTHING! And that just feels AWESOME! Life gets to be so busy and we sometimes forget to set aside times for ourselves. It is so important to set aside "me time" for yourself to help keep you sane.

Same with me, I am a resident in one of the gulf countries and fridays is our day off from work and all offices, government and private sectors are all closed. Fridays is the equivalent of sundays in other countries. But tomorrow, saturday is the first day of the week, like mondays in the other side of the globe.

Hi StephanieAnnC! I envy you for having a free day. I'm loaded all days of the week because I'm a fulltime mom of 3. No helper at home. My husband is working on weekdays and weekends is our family day. We go out most of the weekends so I may say that I have no free day to myself. Hmmm so tiring yet fulfilling! Anyway, I've been there where you are now when I'm still single. I have all my time to be free then. I enjoyed every minute of it. And I'm done with it. I will just advice you to make the most of your free days now because when the time comes that you are about to face the upgraded chapter of your life of having a family of your own, you will miss those. But of course by then, you are matured that you want only the best for your family and whatever sacrifices it may cost... you will give your all. You'll just complimented your self to say... I've been there! 'just like what i'm saying now. I love being busy with my raising family now. No regret at all!

friday is the day, where can i take deep breathe. everyday i will look for this enjoyable friday

Everyday is my free day because I still don't have my permanent job, but, I have a lot of household chores to do. I am enjoying in this free days, I surf at the Internet, I eat any fruits just available at the backyard, I text my friends and most of all I am watching y favorite television shows. But, I pray that it will not be for so long because I need to a my job on. EArn money and help other people.
