That is the question! Are you a generous tipper?

I'm a pretty generous tipper, when I am in a place where tipping is appropriate. But where I live, we don't tip. That sometimes makes it hard to remember when I travel.

I definitely tip. Usually around 20%. My husband was a waiter for many years. He overtips like crazy. I will rarely stiff a server, but if they are REALLY bad, I might leave a very small amount.

I tip well -- waiting tables is hard work and servers deserve to be compensated for the job.

I am a very generous tipper - my husband on the other hand is not! I used to work a job where I lived off of tips and I know how challenging it is so therefore always tip very good - that is unless the service is absolutely horrible - i still always tips something at least! Most waiters and waitresses only bet paid about $2.00 an hour so are completely dependant upon tips!

I do tip, but sometimes I don't think I should, I don't always get the service I think you should get and isn't that what tipping is about??

I usually tip 15%. I'll tip more if we've gotten excellent service - about 20%. I'll tip less if we've gotten poor service. I think there's only been once or twice I didn't leave anything due to extremely BAD service.
