Are Pirates Supposed to Be Drama-Lovers Too?

I'll never get over that scene where Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is found by-the zombie pirates & -Capt. Barbosa (Geoffrey Rush), and Barbosa tells them, "Kill `im!" Now, if I were a member of the crew, the scene would've been 'Kill `im!' BLAM! end-of-movie; but all those slackers waited while Sparrow casually remarks, "The guhl's blood didn't wohk, did it?" I mean, Barbosa said to KILL the guy; not 'unless he has somethin` ta` say!' But I think pirates are just guys and gals who 'are not amused' by the work-a-day life that most people settle into. What do you think about pirates?

The movie would be a lot less dramatic if it ended the way you would have. Yup, I guess that they would be drama-lovers, too. I would say, they may be cold-hearted pirates, but, hey, they're still (or used be to be) humans, too. And, the director needed to assure the audience of another pirates movie, so no killing the protagonist!!!

That's right! Well, that's why parents should be with their young kids when watching these movies. To teach teach them what is real and not, what is right or not, or something like that.

... and then they take `em to church & tell `em to drink the blood of the cosmic Jewish zombie so that He can save their spirits from the evil they got when a rib woman ate an apple a talking snake gave her; there's some "reality" for ya!

What's that got to do with watching movies?
