Friends, I'm so disappointed with the result. It's not worth it. There are really advantages of a contest which relies on text votes. If i have money, i can buy as many sim cards and load as I can just to vote. The Maasinhon Trio was interviewed last Monday's Kris TV episode and the grand winners admitted that the government in their place obliged all government employees to text in one setting. They were all gathered in the gym. It was compulsory. Aside from that they also admitted that within the Mass, the parishioners were given time to pause a while and text and vote for the Maasinhon Trio. And a reliable source told me that the government of Maasinhon spent money for this. So I think the PGT3 Grandwinner is not people's choice. The Maasinhon trio had also a good performance but compared to other finalists, the Maasinhon doesn't deserve to win. Those who have money and the authority would win. How about you guys? What are your comments?

Reality shows like Pilipinas Got Talent should not rely on text votes. don't expect the best and the most talented to win because not all people vote for him or her. Blessed are those who have the money and the influence for they will surely win. Look at Gretchen Espina who became the Pinoy Idol, she won because majority of her father's constituents were given free load and were obliged to text. Same happened to maasinhon trios I guess. If I get disappointed, it's not on who won but on how the winner is chosen.. that is by text votes.

Yes, exactly. Until this time I'm still quite disappointed. I hope that the ABS-CBN management will be careful next time and they will do something that this incident will not happen in the future. It's the first time that many people reacted. Even Kris Aquino admitted that she too was disappointed. She had her own bet also.

Hello Masang, I know how you feel as I am disappointed with the PGT season three result also. After the performance night, I have my favorites but I have this feeling already that the Maasinhon Trio would win because they were supported by lots of people especially those from TFC, which the judges even mentioned on the semi-finals week as they are the number one on that week also. I wasn't able to watch Kris TV and what you posted made me smile. Yes, it is unfair that the winner would be chosen through the text votes but you can see the unity of the people of Maasinhon's province, Maasin City. You can see that even a little city would be able to make their contestant rise to be the winner. For sure the government, would also benefit from the Trio's winning, they would be really happy and very festive. I do agree with you, other contestants are more deserving than them, but still they got some talent considering their age but they were just lucky this time because their government supported them. If only the deserving contestant was supported by their own local government and the people was united with one vote then there would be a good fight for the title., right?

These contest relies on text votes so I don't really stress myself out on this. For me Maasinho Trio kinda deserves it because they also have a good talent. Although we can't deny that all other finalists that showcased their own unique talents are as well good. Take it like this, are you also satisfied with American Idol winners lately? Coz I am not, although Scotty McCreery is a cute and charming guy, I still think some of his opponents are far more better than him. But it also depends on text votes. We cannot also consider that what Maasinho community did was cheating, because it is their freedom to vote for their fellow maasinhonian's (whatever they call it), same as what your whole clan will do when a family member is part of that contest ^^ just a thought...

It was not a big surprise that the Maasinhon Trio won the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3. I had a strong feeling about it because in the Semi-Finals, they almost accumulated half of the text votes. In addition to that, their district is very supportive to them. Well, they also showcase their talent and I believe that all contestants are deserving to win. So for me, they deserve also to win.
