I have been planning for some time now due to my late husband wish for me to take our daughter to Disney World. However,I have not been able to come up with the money yet.Due to my handicaps and the economy I have not been able to find work that I am able to do for the past, almost 7 years. But, I have found from my research that it is more feesable, money wise, that we take a train from our home in Virginia to Florida. That way I can rest instead of using my energy to drive, that way I will be refreshed to enjoy my vacation. And with the price of gas it will cost as much as the train fair. I was advised by some people that have been there and the Disney World resort staff that if you stay in a hotel or the camp grounds at the park then you save money on park tickets, food, shows and other events. As well you park hours are extended, therefore you have more time to spend at the park.I was also told by a hotel clerk in Orlando, she told me that security in the park is wonderful and that we would feel and be a lot safer. And I figured, not only would I have shorter park hours, but we would still be spending more time transporting from the offsite hotel to the park. Then I talked to a relative that is a travel agent and is also one of those people that say their poor, when he has more money then I got, traveled a lot in his life.I just wanted to give you an idea of how this person thinks.Anyway,he told me that it is cheaper to rent a small vacation condo. After we get there, find and get to the grocery store and pack snacks and drinks in a cooler bag(more time wasted)to take to the park with us.So,my handicapped arms get to carry that around the park! So,I do I enjoy my vacation? Or we could rent a car and walk back to the lot we just paid $15 a day for everytime we need a snack or drink. At lunchtime,we drive or transport back to the condo and eat.The transport back to the park repeating our snack criteria as we did that morning. At dinner time....back to the condo and if we aren't too tired then back to the park.Sounds tiring to me! And what if the weather turns bad then we have to run to the car and drive in the mess, then run from the car to the condo.Doesn't sound like fun to me.Plus,by the time we count the cost of the groceries, car rental, gas and parking it is almost the same price of the hotel and food at the park. And I am still tired! You can still rent a hotel, lets say....6 days and just get park tickets for only 4.Check in time at most hotels is 3:00 pm and by we get off the train and take the cab to the hotel in the park it will be about 11:30.The hotels have a locked area where you may store your luggage till check in time.So mean while you have to find something to do.The day is half way gone,no sense wasting money on a park ticket. The park employees told me that the "Downtown Disney" park is free! So,eat lunch there, visit the park then check into your room.Go back to the same park and play some more, eat dinner and stay for their extended hours. And you don't have to transport back to the condo. Then spend the next 4 days enjoying the parks at Disney World. The last day you can transport to other places in Orlando or Kissimee and still stay at the security of the hotel at the Disney resort. Good Luck and have fun with whatever you decide is best for you.

Yes,I want to go to Universal Studios also,so I can see "Hogwarts"But,like I said you can still stay in the park and not pay park tickets for all the days and go to other places.
