Heard the person that you like stay with saying that he (she) loves you is a indescribable feeling right? But have a thousand ways to say "I love you" I mean, not with this words but using different ways, action, places. Sometimes just a unexpected call, or send some flowers without reason or just say Hi for hear the other voice... Love is a universal language, love doesn't have color or religion, love you can not buy, love is love!! What ways can you use to say I love you?

I always say "i love you " to my husband accompanied by a kiss and a hug. But i never get to let him say it, but he would actually hug me and kiss me when i do that. He said, he finds it cheesy saying it, and he would rather have it in action .

If you feel comfortable and this is really true for you, why not say to him? Even he doesn't say the same words for you it doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. Probably he express his love in different way, with action or the way that is a language between you two. I believe that for love doesn't exist rules, you make your "rules" about the way that you say, actin, feel..

I know that even if my husband doesn't say the 3 magic words, he loves me so much. I can tell by the way he treats and cares for me.

The way depends on the situation and the person we loved. It always better through our actions make them realize that we are in love with them and always good if we tell directly and it makes our loved one so special and they feel very happy.

Everybody has different way to say that and to give the importance on it. I believe that you action and situation they have each other is important too but sometimes we want to do more, we don't need to wait the better day or the better action to say that. Sometimes you know when somebody loves you when you really need, when you are in difficult situation and just the person that love you can handle it.

For me saying: I love you is mostly a cheap way to tell. It's easy to write or tell, esp. if someone knows you like to hear that once in a while to make it real. I think you need the other ways too to show you love someone. Mostly those other ways you will find in small gestures, a smile, the way someone is looking at you or holding you. To me it has nothing to do with a bunch of flowers every friday or a box of chocolate to make it up again.

I agree with you. It is not just the words I love you that you need to say, we have many ways to say that. For example yesterday my boyfriend leave me at his house to go to work and I stayed at his house for a while. I decided to do a surprise for him. So I wrote in a post it paper I love you in different language and put it all over his house. I wrote a lot of yellow papers lol This morning he called and say I love you and how he loved the surprise and how he is happy with me!!! It was amazing!!! :)

There are many ways to express love.. My husband didn't said me I LOVE YOU even though we had successfully completed our 2nd anniversary. He expresses his love in his writings, talking, the way he looks al me etc.. May be this was his way to express love on me. I used to prepare his favorite foods and prepare something special for him and express my love towards him..

I agree completely with you and this way is the way that he uses to say how much he loves you. He doesn't have to say this specifics work, he shows you with his actions, words, conversation and that is the way you understand him and that is the point. The relation that you guys have each other, the simplicity and this is very important. Well congrats with your 2nd anniversary and I wish all best. Thank you for your comment.

I also have my own unique ways of loving someone or showing my love to that someone. It's not always by saying the word "i love you" Thu,I love hearing that word too. When I love someone,I always gave my all and everything. have a good day

I believe you and that is the thing, we can say the way we feel that is true and real for us. Sometimes just say the words "I love you" is not enough, we have to show them and "prove" the meaning about this words for us. Thank you for your comment.

This is a good point. I think you are making you husband a very happy man and giving him reasons to come home after a stressful for day and enjoy his family. Of course this is another way to say how you love him and how his is very important to you. I wish you and you family all best :)

I would not use words- since i find it hard to say i love you to a person, even my parents.. I am just shy with words.. not good with expressing myself that way. Maybe using cards.. i do that a lot.
