hello kitty.. pumpkin?

So as anyone who seen from my previous discussions will see, we carved our Halloween pumpkin, and it was Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This was on Tuesday evening.
Last night we went shopping and they had pumpkins on offer, 2 of them for £3 .. so what did we do? We bought another two obviously!! Haha!
I adore hello kitty, I mean I literally love her!
I have a giant one, I have pictures, little figures, a mug, keyrings.. you name it I have it..
So my wonderful, beautiful, amazing other half made me this..
What do you think?

Wow, that is adorable!! I just responded to your other pumpkin discussion and the two of you seem so creative! I've never seen a Hello Kitty pumpkin before and this one is extremely cute

awww thanks. all i did was take the picture of hello kitty off the internet, and then set it on the pumpkin, and lean really heavily onto the pumpkin.. :)
my partner says it was realllllly tricky to do the bow, because you had to leave a small square of the bow, and at the bottom of the kitty, attached to the pumpkin, or else the whole kitty would have just fell out lol!
i never want to throw her away! lol!

Oh wow, that doesn't seem so bad. I've always thought it was really fun to do cool designs on pumpkins. But you're right, certain parts can be tricky since you have to leave a little section uncut to keep everything from falling out.
Take lots of pictures and try to keep her as long as you can lol!!

As soon as I saw the pic, I was all "Awwwwww~" It's too cute! My fave Sanrio character would be Cinnamoroll though but your work on the Hello Kitty pumpkin's too cute

You two are seriously good at pumpkin carving as there is no way I could have done something like that - big thumbs up to your other half!!
I bet you will not want to throw it away when the time comes for it to go!

i know!! i'll hate to throw it out.. which is why i've taken loads of pictures haha :) .. it's not really that hard.. the trick is to actually just score the outline of the picture quite deep, but don't cut the whole way through, and then cut it out in small square sections from the middle outward :)

I love Hello Kitty, too. My bedroom and bathroom is full of Hello Kitty Collection (except for my bedroom curtain lol). I want a Hello Kitty pumpkin, too!

they are actually so easy to make, and you print out the template from the internet :)
