Its 1 am and i am still up. I took the night shift now because the one in charge in our shop is sick.I didn't expect that these kids will be playing 24 hours, and they are in their 15th hours now. I wonder what they are getting or what will be the benefit if they will play computer games this long.I also play in my computer but only when i cant think of something to take the boredom out of me..Are they this bored in their life to just sit and play 24 hours? Well me i'm earning so it explains why i have to sit here in front of my PC and look after them while they all play. But them? What do you think? Was there a time you stayed in front of your PC 24 hrs?

Of course I had my day I still remember playing Diablo II and IGI I for 48 hrs nonstop. But during the play of IGI, I was nearly hospitalized and then I realized that I am growing old and cannot afford playing for so long

Hi ravisivan Now I dont play those PC games though I wanted to play Mortal Kombat Vs DC but they never came for the PC I will want to play that one for sure. Now I am happy with MyLot and other assignments that I have at hand and dont have much of time @tamirs My right arm was nearly frozen and I was dehydrated as I never left the PC for those 48 hours. It was after a day or two that I realized my fingers were numb (though I couldnt figure our why as I played using mouse and fingers). At the hospital hey gave me some exercises for the arm and fingers and also scolded me for being that stupid, but that is me

I am an online game player too but wow! i cant do 24 hours..i get bored lol..i think those kids are addicted with online games.. which is not good for them physically, mentally and even for their future..there should be a curfew at every places though so they will avoid 24 hours gaming.

Children and teen-agers when they are crazy forget the clock and play for 24 hours at a stretch. I cannot stay before a pc for more than 30 mins. I go for walking and relaxation and then come again after 5 or ten minutes. hope you have enjoyed night shift work - probably you would have had less work than day time.

I have a teenage son who has surprisingly thousands of friends in one of the famous social sites. Aside from video chat, he also jumps to playing. He is so enormously should I say energetic. But still I thank he has his laptop to just reach his friends instead of going out with them. But with your asking definitely,I can not stay that long in front of my computer since my eyes for sure get dry and too tired to stare to other things if focused. And even my butt will get numb and reddening as I stand after the session, and not only that my arthritis will surely remind me to stop.

hi buddy, it's true that we will be getting bored of sitting in front of PC for about 24 hrs and playing games. But if you see the age of them , it is just playing time and we should consider them that it is the only life they have got at this span of time.

I've seen the young ones spend hours together on the computer. As for me,the maximum I've spent before a computer screen is 8-10 hours a day. That too gives my eyes a severe strain. The younger one is the more enthusiastic one is about all these activities.I'd definitely be bored to sit in front of a screen for 24 hours a day.

Just 24 hours not enough to play the games, in the age of teen everyone wants enjoyment. Yes, it is better to play the games with improvement of talent. But health is also a factor with which we will do more. And studies are much more important. If you complete your homework then go for games.

I think thats normal for the kids especially when they are with their friends so they mind how long are they sitting and playing games in front of the computer. Sometimes I also play too much but not to the extent that i will play 24hrs, 5hrs play is too much for me and if i were at school playing with my classmates i really enjoy playing but its all about control to your self if you still want to continue to play. it just the Internet Cafe owners that gain for such activities of teens and kids. =)

it not strange for me. i do that 10 years ago. and now, inmy cyber cafe, most of kid like that too. lucky i knew the negaive effect. so at 17.00, at noon, i tell them that they must go home. sometime i angry with them. i don't care if it give bad reputation in my work place. i just not want if they like me, do something useless and get nothing.

No, there was never a time that I sat in front of the PC for 24 hours. That can really strain your eyes. There are so many teenagers who are really fond of playing online games and even if they can't sleep, it's okay for them. I don't understand that. Sometimes, I really love to play computer games but then not to the point of not sleeping. I guess they are really just having fun with that.

no my dear,i have never spend a complete 24 hours in front of my screen even a single day in my life time.you see computer games come up as addiction in growing age and all that is mind is to go high and high at each level.i too was addicted to gaming once upon a time but that was the time when i had nothing better to do in my life.but even then my time was limited to 2-3 hours and not more then that.

Just one time in my life and that is enough. After that I only play maximum 6 hours. I got enough sitting in front of computer whole day long due to my job. And recently, I need to take limit 1-2 hours continuously due to symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome. So please be careful and do not forget to take enough exercise everyday. So in my opinion, the kids might got problem with their hand in near future if they do not be careful

I used to be really addicted to online games. Hmm... I think I have experienced that somehow but roughly like a combined 18 hour gaming session with bathroom breaks of course. Obviously it's not healthy and at the same time very wasteful in terms of time. Nevertheless, I do understand why many of these people are addicted to gaming, some of them are probably really bored and perhaps using gaming as an outlet to get rid of boredom, stress, loneliness, etc. However, based on my experience, nothing beats reality, so I really recommend that they should learn to socialize in the real world and do other healthy stuffs.
