Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvraj back in the Indian squad for the test Match against WI

Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvraj are all back in the Indian squad for the First Test against West Indies. Bhajji has not found a place in the team. Instead the spin department would be represented by Ashwin and Rahul Sharma. What are your views on these selection and on Bhajji's not finding a place. Cheers! Ram

It is a good news that these players are now fully fit and play in a test match. They have got to be match fit for all important tour of Australia that follows. We may not expect mush from these players in this series as they will be rusted due to long lay off. Let us see how they perform.

I think Bhajji would definitely be in the squad for Australia. But it would be interesting to see if Ashwin and Rahul can perform. I think we need to be really good in the spin department for sustained success. Cheers! Ram

Bhajji has also got to be an important member for Australian tour. I therefore thought it would have been better if he had been tried in this series. Both the spinners selected are of course talented and young players and are going to represent India for long time however we can not wright off Bhajji as yet, he has also started to perform with the bat too. with two test centuries under his belt we can expect many more from him.

I think Bhajji is good enough player, but i think,Indian team must be have prepared for this strategy and they should be have make a good format. I still believe indian still gonna be atrong team.

Yes, I would expect Bhajji to make a return to the team for the Australian Tour. I think excess of cricket has affected his effectiveness. The rest would do him a world of good. Cheers! Ram

Test team of India is quite powerful now with experienced players. Hope they do the best and retain the best test team title. With regard to Harbajan singh not selected, he needs rest for the one day matches. Hope he get selected in that team.

I agree with you that Bhajji needs some rest. I just think that he needs some time off the game to get his game back. Let's see how the youngsters perform in his absence. Cheers! Ram

Actually now Indian Cricket team is very fit with youngsters. I think there will be no change after sachin, sehwag and yuvraj's entry. Yuvraj is not in well form. That is big threat to India. He has to shine well. And the Indian fans more expecting from sehwag, he has to show his powerful batting with hitting sixes.

Yes, the youngsters have really lighted up the field. I think as this is the test series, I do not think Yuvraj would make the starting XI. I think Raina would be selected ahead of him into the team. Cheers! Ram

I also think that Ashwin does deserve his chance. I think he will take over Bhajji's mantle as an off spinner. The troubling thing for India is that no one is yet ready to take up Kumble's mantle as the leg spinner. Cheers! Ram

Got the great Indian team back with aggressive batsman sehwag , master sachin and sixer yuvraj after a break. I look forward for a great series against west indies.

Yes, but as this is a test series, I am doubtful if Yuvraj woudl play. I think I will pick Raina ahead of Yuvraj in tests. I am also looking forward to a good series against WI. Cheers! Ram

it is very good news that sachin,sehwag and yuvraj back in the indian cricket team but i think bhajji has given chance there .ashwin and rahul are two new spinners even rahul did not play any match for india .so in the place of rahul bhajji were given chance.

I think if we want to try out new players, then WI are the best team to try it out with. I think right now they are one of the weaker teams in the world. So in that sense I am happy that they have picked Ashwin and Rahul in place of Bhajji. Cheers! Ram
