I'm watching 80's and 90's anime over recent ones now

I was really dissapointed with the most recent anime titles, so now I tried to hunt down some 90's and80's anime because I found their stories much better, Some of them are shows I watched in my childhood that I never get to finish cos of Nostalgia, sadly some of them are hard to find, I'm also watching those old titles that were never aired in my country, How I wish the anime of today were as good as the classics, at this moment American Cartoons is doing better than anime.
I wish a new anime golden age will come.

Oh. True there isnt much substance in some of the more recent animes. It's actually quite sad.

It's easy to search and download any anime from old to new. I use bitorrent to download anime series that I like to watch again specially anime in the 80's and 90's. Then after download I convert the video and burn it on a DVD. I have downloaded the full series of inuyasha,voltron,flame of recca, yugioh, virtua fighter, ghost fighter and so many more. I love my anime collection.

hey Monitor your boys from what they watch, a lot of anime have heavy sekswal (lol intentionally misspelled) content, You mean you didnt watch even Voltest V as a kid?

Now that you mention it, anime these days really a little left behind than old anime. The new anime did have a great graphic now because of the technology but the stories still couldnt beat the old anime. It could be because of so many anime they must made so they run out of ideas for it maybe they are too focused on the graphic alone that make them forget about the stories.

the character designs also started to be generic, whatever happened to originality ,also whatever happened to characters with personalities that is so real, now we have always have the generic silent but deadly person, generic loud person and the generic clumsy protagonist.
