Well the easiest diet I have been on was Atkins. It is not for everyone, but I had tried about 20 others and never lost much weight. I started Atkins 2 years ago and lost 97 lbs. the first year. 2 years later I am still at my ideal weight. When I gain 5 lbs. I go back on the diet very strict. I stay on the maintenance program most of the time except holidays. LOL. It is very simple and you can even do it on the road. It is basically meat, eggs, cheese, and green vegetables. There is an induction part that is very important to begin the diet. This puts your body in ketosis. Once you find where your body goes into ketosis you can lose weight effortlessly. You must be dedicated to really want to lose weight, set your goals realistic and obtainable. Remember losing 1 pound a week is much better than losing 5. Your body will keep the 1 pound off longer. Also, when dieting your body will try to hang onto the fat cells so 1 day you may have lost 3 lbs. only to find the next you gained 5 lbs. This is water retention. Don't go by pounds as much by inches. On Atkins you may go 2 months not losing any pounds but you will be losing inches, that is just the way the diet is set up. I lost 4 dress sizes! So, if you are serious please buy the book, read, get a mind set, and go for it. I wish you all the luck in the world. This diet will work and you will have so much more energy.
