It's been a while since I've changed my email address in PayPal, but I know I've done it more than one time.
If you go into "My Account" after you log in, there's an email section there that will let you add email addresses. After you add the address, you need to verify it by confirming an email they send.
After the new account is verified, there's an option there to change the primary email address. If memory serves, you need to answer a challenge question to do this, like entering in the last few digits of the bank account that's attached.

Well, u can change your email address in paypal. IT's as simple as that. It doesn't matter your account is verified under yahoo or gmail. What matters is the owner is the account. IF u are the owner of the account, it won't be a problem for u to do a switch. IF not, worse comes to worse, create another new account using your gmail. Whatever earnings u have in future, just transfer them over to the gmail account.. haha

I never tried to change my paypal information to another email address, unless you can edit your information from your paypal account though. Why not try to find out from your paypal personal information page, and edit your email address? If that is not working, try to open a new gmail account, and get it verified with paypal. You can open multiple account with paypal though.

As said above, add your gmail address - make it your primary email. Wait a day and test it by logging in on your gmail address. Delete your yahoo address if required, although it is better to keep it for a while in case you still have payments coming to that address.
