This guy keep calling me even though i have threaten him to take police action if he calls me again.I dont pick up his phone calls and sometime just receive call and kept mum to increase his phone bill. This trick has failed. As he keeps calling everyday anyway. This is irritating .Anybody here know how to get rid of a stalker without taking police in between.I can use that option but its a last resort. Btw he is not my ex bf.He was just i came in contact for business reason and i think he had fallen for me and he is acting possessive even though i have told him i have no interest in him.

How did he get your number? Did not you think twice before sharing your number with an unknown person? I think you would have shown some friendliness in the beginning, which would have prompted him to ask you for your number. It would be better to change the number, if you really want to avoid him.

This is called perils in profession. Now I am clear how you shared aur number with him. You have not replied to my other observations? Did you talk to him about some other issues other than business matters? You can straight away tell him that you gave your number to him only for business matters and for nothing else.

No i have never talked about my personal things with him.But looks like he got to know few things observing my facebook wall and my photos there. You can straight away tell him that you gave your number to him only for business matters and for nothing else. That is something i make clear to every guy biz friend i have. They still hit on me sometime as i am single and look pretty.I just politely tell them to keep things limited to business only and most of them just get it and do not bother me further. He is the only one calling and calling month after month.

Well now, I can see why he would fall for you. If that is your real picture on your profile, I would say you are very attractive. Now, if he keeps calling you everyday, you could call the phone company and have the number blocked form your phone. If you use a cell phone you could block it online. I think the phone company charges for this but if it will help to the calls, I would do it. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

Now thats good news. I hope he can never bother you again. That has to be a scary thing for a woman. I can only imagine how you felt. Well, I am glad that you don't had to worry about that anymore.

Talk to the police. You've warned him, he's carrying on. This kind of thing can be more dangerous than you realise - pre-emptive strike tactics are mandatory! Get the police involved: it's the only way he'll understand and he needs to be shown you're serious.

Even the furthest city is only one stalker-flight-payment away...

The huy seems to be psycho. On your place I would go and report him to the police. Such people don't take "no" or " leave me alone" for an answer. For your safety go the the police. Really.

Did you try to block his mobile number on your cellphone? I know that it might not work out because he just might change his sim card but you can still try. Or maybe you can change you sim card so he won't be able to contact you. Guys like him are really creepy and will never stop. I also had one like that and I also made a discussion about it here in mylot lol. For me, it was really good that he stopped calling and sending me messages. Good luck.

hello piya, the only trick i knew has proved to be of no help to you and you have already tried it.i think you can call some of your friend to deal in with this problem if you don;t want to get into police.but if that also doesn't work, then i feel you have no other option but to rush into police.

It seems you've been reasonable with this guy,and it's not working..Maybe you could check with police or an advice centre as to your best options, but don't engage wirh him on the phone.. Either keep up the silent treatment or get a loud whistle and blast him!

Hi, piya84: There are four methods to get red of his repeating: 1- knew his number in telephone screen and do not reply 2- Put a restriction in your telephone for his number 3- get your father or brother to answer him for several time instead of you and I think he will stop calling 4- call police to take action Please try one of the above methods

I think that just the best thing would be to do is just ignore his calls and hopefully he will get the message and stop calling, now if that doesn't work the only other thing to do is to either, block his number if that is possible with the phone company that you have or to change your number. Being that this was a year ago, did that guy ever stop calling you?

I can definitely understand your dilemma. Why not just tell him that it is getting too scary and if he does not stop calling you, you are going to lodge FIR against him. Tell him it is against the law to harass people this way. I got away with this kind of nuisance like this before. Not anyone I know, someone who was just making prank calls and started calling me regularly. I told him that if he does not stop calling, I am going to involve the police.

I think changing your phone number would fix the problem right away. Just give the new number to all your business clientele. If you don't change the number you would need to get the police involved or file a harrassment lawsuit against the person. If you know the person that is.

This guy sounds like a dangerous man to me. No one in his right mind would call a girl everyday after her showing him of her disinterest. If this happens to me, it would really freak me out.:( Perhaps it's time to change your phone number so that you will no longer receive these unwanted calls. If changing your number is not an option, the next time he calls you, try asking a male or an old lady to answer it for you. Ask them to pretend that it's their phone now. Doing so will make him think that you've already change your number. If this is his only way of contacting you, it might be easier to get rid of him. If things don't improve, or if he has plenty of other ways to harass you, you should contact the police. I hope you won't have to go that far. Good luck and take care.

WOW Piya...fortunately I have never been in that situtation to be stalked so these comments are not from experience with a stalker....BUT...if this guy is in India and you are in the USA..why not just change your number...you should never give your home number out...always use your cell phone until you really get to know the person..Its 2 late for this guy but just future references..hopefully he does not have your address...but I know this situtstion is nothing to play with....if u really don't care about him call the police and report him...they are use to this type of harrassment/stalking...stay safe....

In my opinion don't gave time to the person who always stalking on you.You may change your number you will no longer have access with each other. And its very important to call with police so that whatever may happen there's always a response with the authority.

IF i were in this situation, I'd change my number. If that doesn't work, I'll call the police.
