I could not login my yahoo account

Since three years I am using yahoo is as my email provider, since the beginning I am using only one password, regularly I am lo gin morning and night yahoo site and watching my mails, to my surprise I could not access my yahoo account since morning, I have taken the help of the admin also and I have to wait for the reply from yahoo to my gmail account, today my gmail account also not accessed , I have to reset my password through my sms message to my cell phone, I do not know why this happens, I am not login my gamil account regularly , I think once in month I will login my gmail account, but daily twice I am login my yahoo account, today I have typed my email id correctly and password also correctly, as usually, but I do not know the reason why this yahoo mail was given trouble in login, what is the problem, I have not forget the yahoo email id and my password, any body can help me to restore my yahoomail account, or what is your experience when you have faced this type of problem with yahoo mail

I've had a similar issue with Ymail myself; it seems that after a certain period of inactivity, Yahoo will deactivate accounts. I don't believe there is any way to avoid this, but you might be able to get it back.
Under the login box, there should be a link that says "I can't access my account". Select this, and from there select "My password doesn't work". You'll need to answer your security questions, and from there you can reactivate.
If you have remained active, your account has likely been compromised. A similar process is needed; select "My account may have been compromised" instead of "My password doesn't work".

thanks for the response, sorry i have not find this this that is "my password does'ts work",now i am facing the same problem with gmail also, but they are asking some tipes and allowing me to change my password through giving code number to my cell phone,but yahoo no reply what to do? have a nice day

thanks for the response, now itself i have open the two links which you have send to me,but i have not understand what to do with the links, the main thing can i restore my yahoo account, because i have given that id to my paypal account and other money earning sites, so what to do? have a nice day

I think it may be due to your password problem.you may forget your password and entered an incorrect password.i too have the same problem before and now i am using an unique password to all accounts.otherwise there is no options.

thanks for the response, i too was using unique password since 3 years and mostly i am using the same password in all the sites and with one charector change only,but the problem arise this time, what to do, how to restore my yahoo email id, that is most important to me, have a nice day

Yahoo Mail have been having a lot of trouble lately. Leave it for a day or so and hopefully they will get their act together. A lot of other people have been having troubles as well.
You can ask for a new password (forgot password link) to be mailed to your alternate email account.

thanks for the response, i could not login my yahoo account since two days, my yahoo account is linked with mylot, mypage5 and other sites, so i have lot of trouble now,how to change my id once again with all these sites, i am in mesh, what to do, have a nice day

I have not had this problem specifically, but I have been having many crazy problems with yahoo the last couple of weeks. I can't explain all of it but it's just not working right. it would be a big pain to try to change my account to another type of server but I am certainly thinking about it!

thanks for the response, i have tried this two times and completed all the steps from the beginning twice, till now i have not received any message to my gmail id, what to do , in these 3 years i have not faced this type of problem with any site, have a nice day

I experience same thing whenever I use our desktop computer. All I do is restart the computer and then voila, I can now log in. :)

thanks for the response, i have tried several times to open my account in yahoo morning and eveining since 3 days,but i could not succeed, what to do how to restore my yahoo id once again, there are lot of information in that id,so what is the remedy for it, have you any information about customer care in yahoo?have a nice day

Hi yugasini,
There is a possibility that your account had been hacked. The hacker had probably changed your password intentionally or unintentionally. My messenger was hacked once. I found out this from my friends who told me that someone else is chatting under my id.
I was left with no choice but to delete my account and create a new one with a more complex and hard to figure out password. If you still can't log yourself in, than I suggest you to do the same.
