what is the function of jump break and label feature in blogger

hi, i noticed there are jump break and label feature in blogger, i understand jump break is to insert read more function on my post, but how does it work with label? would appreciate advise from those who knows..

It cuts your post so the "read more" feature will appear on your front page. It entice the reader to read the whole post and it helps the loading time because it doesn't have to load all your post.
