My soulmate and I.

I had posted recently that I had finally found my soulmate. Gosh, I was still reminding myself that such things do not actually exist, when, we did finally meet, and instantly, we talked like we never parted for a quarter century. I was telling my soulmate that although we do understand each other, there were actually more things that we don't share in my tally sheet, like he wanting much ketchup in his french fries, and I had to force myself to dip the fry in that red thing. What do you know, he said that he was amused that I was beginning to count the commonalities between us, but he would rather enjoy the symmetry in differences... My jaw dropped! I found my match!

Hi! Heartiest Congratulations to you on finding your soulmate. You appear to be on cloud nine after this achievement Hope you are compatible for each other and you have many common things between two of you and symetry of differences would counter balance the common things. All the best you.

Why, thank you, dpk, that was a heartwarming greeting. And yes, my soulmate and I are very compatible even if the tastes differ. I suppose understanding goes beyond the trifling things people usually make a fuzz about. My soulmate and I had surpassed that. We, more than any other thing, speak the same language.

It really is a great thing when we are lucky enough to meet our soulmates because the majority of the people in the world are not lucky enough to meet their soulmate during their lives. I know that I met mine when I met my husband almost ten years ago. We were able to talk from the start like we'd known each other for a long time and though we have many things that are in common, we also have some things that are very different between the two of us.

good for you. i found my match and soul mate 13 years ago and married her. there are things that she does not like but atleast gave it a go and now i can say she likes it too. like sardines for example. she does not eat sardines but i love to eat sardines in the morning, with hot pandesal or hot rice. now she eats that too. its not whats in common its how you deal and accept that differences. if you can dig it then thats a match.

I met my soulmate a long time ago, now a distant past. We knew we kind of have something that goes on between the two of us, but circumstances were far too elusive to then for us to establish what we knew we wanted. So, we kinda drifted apart... but when we reconnected, it was as if we never were apart... We are the best of buddies now, and there had been no other human being that understood me than this soulmate of mine.

Hi eileen leyva: I am glad to know about these really nice news and as your soulmate says, it's not about the similarities. It's actually about how you share these similarities and the things you don't have in common that you can work to make your love stronger. I hope you enjoy the beauty of love and that you'll be a really happy couple. ALVARO

Wow, congratulation you found your soulmate already, I wish you happiness. Upon reading your post, you remind me of my husband, he used to call me soulmate when he was still in the courting processed. But since we got married, his endearment is now "Dahling" and when he got angry he called me by my first name, lol.
