I am quite handful today, I have to create about 2 meeting minutes(which is already sent anyway before lunch), and a presentation (no deadline yet) but i want it done as soon as possible. I have a target here in mylot and i have a meeting set in 2 hours. I do not know which one should be done first! haha Have you ever been in a situation where things would be lined up in front of you and you do not know when or what to start? What would you usually do if you got a handful of stuffs to do and all of them seemed like a priority?!

I always make a list of things I need to do on a day-to-day basis. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what things are more important and what takes a shorter/longer time to get done. I'm a student, though, so of course my activities may differ from other people's. It goes something like this for me: 1.) Schoolwork (I'm a full-time college student, so education is first!) 2.) Work (I can't be a student without making money, even if just on college) 3.) Life-Work (Laundry, cleaning, etc.) 4.) Funzies (Socializing, video games, etc.) This is a simplified version of my days, but it gets the main point across.

I would first look at the priority levels which invariably would differ from activity to activity. In your case it is crystal clear that your job is by far would have a higher priority than meeting your target here in myLot.

I usually focuses on the most urgent and most important. Try to write down all the things that you need to finish. Alongside each task is the deadline for submission. Then take the task that is more urgent and important. Work on it. Then when you finish, get another task. Stop thinking of the other tasks while working on it. This way, you will be able to focus. Goodluck!

a pleasant day chiyosan, how i wish i can extend my hands to help you. with regard to your query, i really loved to do multi-tasking. and the task that you are into was also happened to me months back. as i have my deskjob office work, having mylot targets and photography exhibits submission. and during those times, i am really enjoying what i am doing. so i am setting everything to be on priority list. however, i do classify it according to its importance. first thing, identifying what is the most important thing - well, my deskjob office work, because, thru this, i can have a fix income that can sustain my needs in internet for mylot and peripherals for my photography needs. second, the mylot targets. since, i need to earn extras so i do set a target on mylot. third but not the least, my photography, thru this i can hit two birds in one stone - that is to earn thru the photos that i capture and have a hooby that can make me improve more on my ability to shoot the best pictures. and now i am proud to say that i am earning little by little what i have planted. though i dont have a deskjob office work anymore, i am working as a freelancer wherein i am in control of my time. still doing mylot and having a target and actively participating in photoshooting exhibits. and same as you are - i am always saying - what needs to be done today, should be finish by today. there is no way to entertain procrastination. as i have said earlier, how i wish i can extend my hands to help you. have a wonderful day chiyosan.

Right now I have to clean my guinea pig's cage, and I'm so not in the mood to do so. Maybe I'm just being lazy, but it's a huge project. I need to empty the bedding, clean it with bleach, clean his food bowl, clean his water bottle, add the new bedding, add some hay, refill his water and food bowl, then put him back in. It's quite a job.

I am a big list-maker and every day the things I have to do are listed down, even if they are just simple things. What to start with depends on how soon something needs to be done. Fortunately for me I have a very fixed schedule as on online teacher. I know exactly when the classes start and end, so I know exactly what to do and when to do it.
