How Would You Want to Die?

I don't mean "creation, burial, etc." I mean, what would you want the cause of death to be? I'm sort of a darkly humored kind of guy, so I thought it'd be slightly amusing to be knocked unconscious, fall in a puddle, and drown to death. If not, then dying in my sleep somehow would suit me fine because there'd be no pain involved. Maybe only sadistic people like me think about these kinds of things, but I think it's an interesting topic for sure.

Like most of us, I'd prefer the 'dying in sleep peacefully' please, not in a hospital bed. It'd be better to be in a warm comfortable bed with my face smiling for the last time and everyone who loved me will be by my side.
I actually evaded this topic, because i didn't like to think about dying. Then i thought, we will all go through it eventually.

I agree. Dying in a hospital would be unfamiliar and depressing. I'd rather be at least moderately comfortable whenever it happens.

My choice would be carbon monoxide poisoning. In three seconds, it is all over. But things cannot always be the way we want them to be. My sister wanted to die in her sleep. Instead, she had to endure the severe pain of cancer in several places. Her torment lasted almost 1 year before she was finally able to let go.

I want to die crashing a Bugatti Veyron or falling out of an F-16 Jet. I think big ya know . . . LOL

I hope to go peacefully in my sleep, with no pain. If I don't have that option I pray and hope that however I die it will be swift and painless. I'm not one for a lot of pain LOL.

Welcome to Mylot Mrconrad! I would like to die sleeping... In our country, they call it Bangungot. Medically, they term it as acute pancreatitis.

I'm thinking about dying for a quick or fast heart attack. There will be no symptoms or get sick for a long time, just a sudden attack and you know that your time is coming, so you still have the time to say goodbye for the people you love and ask them to write your final wish.

I hope I will die in my sleep. Without feeling cold at that moment and the experience/knowledge of not having pain for some moment.

I usually think dying in my sleep is a very good way to die so at least you won't have to suffer in pain. But somehow I thought about the family that will be left. Before I die I want to say goodbye to my loved ones.
