What are the main fruits and veggies that would help someone remain healthy and fight against cancer? Or are they all beneficial? Thanks.

Like your everyday fruits, fruits has Antioxidants which helps to prevent cancer, but if you don't include berries in your diet ou nee to start. Strawberries, also blueberries (blueberries are the best kind of berries to have in your diet). with the veggies grean leafy veggies are good. If you ever make a salad make it colorful. Green, yellow, and red peppers are also good for you. Just dont limit your fruit and veg. intake. The recommended fruit and veg. serving size is 4-5 servigs a day so you can switch it up each day.

I agree its important to eat fruit and vegetables every day. Most people don't eat enough of them and your right about the staggering medical costs in the United States. I would like to add reduce stress and get enough sleep, as these two are the ones my doctor told me to change. Sadly, not all cancers are preventable; however, its important to reduce your risk.

not really medically proven but it was known to be helpful as some fruits and especially some vegetables contains antioxidants and some compounds that were proven to have anti-cancer properties.

Yes I agree. For those that don't know antioxident means too prevent oxidation in cells. So everytime you eat raw fruits and veggies you are fighting the aging process. Note most of us cook our veggie, if you can, to get the most benefits eat them raw. I eat carrots, broccoli, cauliflower raw. I'm not obsessed with youth but I would like to remain fit as I age. So you may catch me dancing when I'm forty.
