Is Facebook getting harder to use?

I've noticed that when I try to use Facebook now, it's very slow. It responds slowly when I try to scroll the page and tends to keep jumping up and down making it hard for me to read things or post responses. When I try to post something, the letters are slow to appear and it misses some, again making it difficult to do. I think it's because there are so many Flash widgets and things on the page. Do other people have this problem or am I using the wrong browser (Internet Explorer 8) or something? Is there something I can do about this or do I just have to go to Google + or wait until Zuccerberg gets his act together?

You right, friend. Facebook is now annoying in terms of profile and everything. They always change it and worse case was the slow loading of the pages...

I think they should have less stuff on one page, if they don't think that's enough they can put a "next page" link at the bottom.

I also can't use fb anymore, also other sites and IE and Firefox give me a hard time. I don't have the latest, fastest computer and all those extra's make the running very slow. If you refuse an update sooner or later you are not able to use the programm anymore. So I stay away from fb it's way too annoying and feels way more like wasting my time as it is relaxing to play a game.I don't need fb for the contacts.

You really should update your operating system as the updates include security features. Some of the security features are IMHO questionable, like the one that stops links with target attributes from working in SVG when you're viewing it with IE and ASV3 (don't know about IE 9, which has native SVG support - all other browsers have native SVG support and links with target attributes work as expected). I'd like to hear comments from people who use Mac, Lynux, Windows 7 etc. to view Facebook. Does it work better with those?

I would say yes to that. I loged in to facebook a while a go because a friend requested that i tag a photo of her. I uploaded it and could not find the usual button that i am used to to tag friends whom i think would be interested in the photo. I am sure facebook meant to make the services better, but seriously i think that they have quite made it too fast and i see there are a lot of flaws in the updated version of the facebook site.

I think that a lot of people are having a lot of different problems with facebook. I just play the games on there and they are very slow to load and my daughter can't get on them at all some days. In my opinion he's changed facebooks so much that it's just hard to figure out in general how to use it. Not everyone is computer literate and have a hard time figuring out the new facebook. My daughter loves getting on facebook and was so upset by the new changes.

I don't usually do facebook, for some sort of public updates, I am on facebook just to play city ville other than that nothing, so i don't really mind if it becomes harder and harder as long as I can visit my City that's alright.

I like seeing my friends updates and posting pictures of cacti and comments on things for people to see. I also use it to publicize my web comic. I've been using the groups but they've just changed those and a bunch are now archived. I think Facebook should try to get similar groups to amalgamate rather than having a bunch of similar ones with a few members each and very little activity on any of them. I know Facebook's been trying to get people to use pages instead of groups but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to look at the pages you've subscribed to.

Yeah i have same experience with facebook these days. They adding alot of new feature in the sites that make the bandwith getting bigger. Because of that when we opening facebook site it getting slower and take longer to show the pages. Actually i prefer the old facebook because it is easy to load and didnt lagging so much like now. The old facebook fast loading also one of my reason i choose facebook that time.

I think it is with all those apps I can't use because they are not secure. It's good to know they are not but facebook should make us stop loosing our time and just allow apps that are already secured, sometimes I go to some to find in the end that I can't use because they are not secured.
