I'm talking about FISH my friends (of Marillion fame in the 80s) and he now has a successful solo career. I missed him the last time because I was at Mum's over 100 miles away and was blissfully unaware that he'd played a gig in Carlisle. It didn't help on a night out a few weeks later when this guy showed me a pic of him and Fish with their arms around one another in the very pub we were in lol. The thing is; this particular gig ain't cheap. It's £17.50 a ticket! Now, when Fish was in Marillion they tended to be on for absolutely ages AND this gig is near Christmas, 17th December to be exact. On 18th December 1985 Marillion played a memorable gig in my other Town of Blackpool..and it was one of the very best. I daren't tell Mum that Fish is ALSO playing in Fleetwood in a couple of weeks...which is a Town right next to hers. She'll be nagging me to come down, book tickets, etc, etc and I can't be everywhere at once, unfortunately. I think I might just stick to "Our Bob" lol. Makes life a whole lot easier and we have tickets for the Magnum gig anyway. I can't be too greedy!! I've never known anything like it..all these ace acts coming to Carlisle. It's about time! How is your home Town for decent gigs or do you have to travel to watch anything half-decent?

Now I can say I don't know Fish and Bob,but I know of them.If I may say so,You are their dyed-in-the-wool fan,the same with your Mum.We can't live without hobby and man does not live by bread alone. As you have known, I like music very much and is some vocalists' fancier, but I only listen to songs they sing over the TV.

It's a shame you can't experience Fish and Magnum for yourself. Fish, especially, you would like as he's known as a poet and expresses himself through his singing.

I am afraid I don't understand what he is singing without subtitles.
