Continuing the celebration

We are celebrating the feast of Nuestra Señora de Soledad de Porta Vaga in our town today. Since yesterday there was nonstop marching bands on the street and even today. I have been awakened for two days at 5:30AM with this sound. Today everyone will be busy preparing foods and receving visitors but I guess most of the people here was glued until they see who's gonna win in Pacquiao and Marquez fight.
The fight has just ended. And fortunately Pacquiao won again. Another pride for the Filipinos and additional millions for the guy 
So now I guess we can go back to celebrating our festival here!

enelym so you're from porta vaga,is that the place where they based the movie of julie vega miracle in porta vaga?where is that located?HAPPY FIESTA.
I knew Pacquiao's going to win by unanimous decision,but I'm a bit skeptical with the result,who cares as long as our hero wins that's the main thing.
I guess they're really setting up a mega fight with Floyd Gayweather.

Uhmmn I'm not from Porta Vaga, I actually don't know where that is... sorry. Porta Vaga is one of our Saints here in our town which we consider our town's saint too
I don't know about that movie, it's the first time I've heard of such. I think I was still young when I heard her name, I remember seeing her photos before and she's so pretty but I haven't seen any of her movies. My mom just told me about her however she can't seem to remember that movie too, I just asked her about it now.
Well, gayweather? I don't think he's gonna fight Pacquiao.. if he will then that will be really good to watch. Well a lot of people has been reacting about the result. They were all expecting Marquez to win.

I asked my friend about it and he confirmed it and even says he never seen that place yet the one you're saying where the movie has took place before... and he was asking me to go there one time haha

I know what you are talking about, we have something similar in here, in august, when the feast of Nuestra Señora de Los Angeles. Large feasts, with music, from the early morning, with fire works, as well. About the fighting, I can´t say much, but, I get news here, mostly from mexican and US agencies, so, maybe the opinions may vary a little, :), you understand, but, I don´t really care, wish you to have fun in your festivities.

I know albto, I've seen a lot of statuses about, you know.... half of the Filipinos are celebrating while half are somewhat disappointed with the results.
And I forgot to mention the fireworks, like what you in your country too! Yes, there were fireworks from yesterday and on the feast day too.

Good Luck in your celebrating the festival hope it'd be successful, less injuries and more laughter and smile, We'd be celebrating our town festival May 15, our Saint is Sto. Nino.
Yes indeed our town was so quiet a while ago, all people were watching the match, I guess Marquez really improve his fighting skill and stamina as well, that was a tough battle though, I think Marquez and Manny will fight again, I am sure enough he is very eager to wear that belt.

Just same here,the streets is so peaceful and quiet.No people and vehicles,all are in there houses and watched the fight.It is over now and Pacquiao won again.

Yeah a lot of people were really glued to their television as soon as the fight started. Well, fiestas are always fun to go to. I hope you had fun with your fiesta celebration.
