Holiday for Student Because Of Sea Games

guys, if you are teacher do your student also get holiday because of this sea games? in my city, many student was got holiday. i also watch on tv, there is a student that ask from the school to become supporter all country in this sea games. i watch interview from 1 student that become supporter of malaysia, she say she just ask by the school to support malaysia but in their heart always indonesia. and all of this student got IDR 50.000 every day.

Well i guess students must be love getting holiday no matter what the reason is. I know because i've been a student before and i really love if we got a holiday. But now that i thinks of it, holiday without strong reasons would be bad for school performance. The students could be left out of their study because of the holiday and i thinks it is quite bad since it will make their score droping. I guess the scholl can give the students holiday for about 3 days only for this special event and resuming the school activities after that so that the students didn' left out of their studies.
