I know this probably does not happen in every country, but here in the United States, some stores have people come in to give out food samples.
I have been doing this for about six weeks now as a part time job. I have seen stores where the sample people are not friendly, and also where I do not think they are careful how they handle the food.
I am picky about who I will take a sample from. So I guess I was wondering if you tend to take food samples in stores or shops if they are offered. I find more women refuse than men. They read labels and such, or they say they prefer their own cooking, but they will give it to their kids and the husbands often take samples. If they do not offer samples in your shops, would you like them to? Would you like to try new products? If you sample something are you likely to buy it right then? Or do you think about it and buy it on your next trip? I avoid samples at Sam's Club because there are so many of them and you can easily consume too many calories and still will want to go eat a meal afterwards.
