My Granddaughter said another GEM!!

My daughter and my granddaughter were watching the movie "Mickey's Christmas Carol" when my 5 year old granddaughter says "I don't know why he (meaning the Scrooge) does not like christmas doesn't he know its a time of peace and joy! OK! What five year old says this. Usually they are saying stuff like Santa and toys. I know this child was here before. I just love her so much!

Yes, aren't they the best. I believe they are Gods blessings for raising our kids. I have now two grandkids one each and another baby girl coming GOD willing next month. I can't wait. I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.

Aww...she is very smart and kind. It would be great if everyone caught on as fast as she did about the holiday season. Could you imagine how the world would be? Take care and hug that grand daughter close.

Oh wouldn't the world be such a better place to live if all felt that way. I will be giving her hugs and kisses God willing on December 11th when I go to visit for two months in New Mexico. I can't wait. Her mom (my daughter) will be having her second daughter next month so I will be there through the holidays and helping out with my new granddaughter. So exciting! I hope you and your family have a beautiful Thanksgiving.

Wow, you must have a fantastic daughter! To raise a child that isn't trained to think of gifts and material stuff at Christmas means she has really paid attention to her daughter's inner needs. Tell you daughter she's doing a great job!!

Thank you, my daughter and son-in-law must be doing something right. A child at that age is only thinking of santa and what they will get. I was shocked when my daughter relayed to me what she said. I just hope she stays with this mentality for the rest of her life.
