This is due to faulty CMOS battery. CMOS battery is for keeping some important setting in the system and when it fails your system's time and Date cannot be saved after you shut down your computer! Check your computer. You must be receiving a message like CMOS Read Error or CMOS checksum error. Best solution would be to change the battery but first try and keep your computer on for 15-20 hours, this can sometimes fix the problem. If problem is not solved you would have to change the CMOS battery. It is a silver colored cell in your motherboard just like a coin. you can easily buy a new one from any shop. take your old one and purchase a new one. Replace it and your Problem solved!

I is a battery which is required to save some of your important settings even when your computer is switched off. Ir looks like a coin - similar in size and can be easily seen in the motherboard. Also very cheap to replace- a simple one costs around $2. BTW CMOS means Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor.

This is a problem mostly because of a faulty CMOS battery. What you'll have to do is buy a CMOS battery from the computer hardware shop (very cheap). They open up the cabinet and replace the old CMOS battery in the motherboard with the new one. I think you problem will be solved. Try this and tell. Bye.
