It seems totaly confusing

I have been pondering upon asking these questions for a long time now. This is really taxing on me. Please guide me. My problem is that I have a couple of websites to write for. One of them pays upfront. I have observed that it pays good for the tech articles. So, I intend to write for them. However, I have another place to write such articles too. So the problem is, I can't use the same article at two places. (I don't believe (want) to rewrite the same article.) So I need to produce a lot of stuff. My another problem is to decide for which type of websites should I write - for those that pay upfront (I am not much aware of such sites though) or for those that pay for pageviews. What would you have chosen? As a (freelance) writer which type of writing do you prefer? Please do help me out of these crossroads.

I have also joined so many writing websites but can't find how can I republish my same articles because it is a headache of writing one thing in two different types of words. I use Triond for writing but not getting any improvment in my earnings. I think I am going to leave it, the earning is stuck at $0.01 as my pageviews are increasing but not the earnings. Do you have any idea why this happens?

Have you searched for the group on Facebook? I searched "Triond Trends" but didn't get any result as a group. I just found the Triond app. I don't what that is. But please do update if you find the link.

I write for Triond also. And my earnings are showing very small improvement but I have only earned about 10 cents total. Other persons have done well on Triond. I only have about eight articles published on Triond? How many have you published? I think that it might take 100 or so articles on Triond to get decent earnings.

My preference is always upfront. But are you guaranteed upfront payment? There are a lot of factors involved in the questions that you ask in your discussion. First, how long is your article? Are you guaranteed upfront payment? if so, how much? What happens if the article is rejected for upfront payment? Regarding the other site. How much do you get per page view? I write for a few sites. One, Associated Content, sometimes pays me for upfront payments but other times rejects me for upfront payments. However, I am allowed to publish getting paid for page views only. Triond only pays page views. I like both sites. I aways submit to AC first. I then sometimes re-write the article and submit to Triond.

Yes, the site I am writing for pays upfront. So, I only need to write longer and good articles that will give me instant bucks. As for your answers: It depends on how big the article is. As far as I have seen, there are around 500-700 word articles. I write not less than 300/325. So, there are lesser earnings. But I try to write longer ones. But to go for more words, just for the sake of it, is useless as there will be only filler content then. Secondly, there has not been any case of my article being rejected even once. I have 100% record there. In case my article gets rejected, I will always correct it to upload again. But it does not need to be done. If you write with nice grammar and keep other simple things in mind, you should be able to pass your articles easily. If you are writing for Associated Content, then I don't think you are from India. Because we from India are not allowed to write and earn from that site. I have my account on Triond as well. But the earnings are too slow there, I think.

I would recommend going with the site that pays upfront. And then, when you find time, write a similar article for the one that pays per page views. You can copy the one that you have already placed, make some revisions and changes. And you have a different and original article for the second site. I am in The United States. And Triond does pay low. My earnings are at about 10 cents right now. Other persons do better on Triond. I only have about eight article on Triond and feel that i will do better if I can raise the number. But, it is a lot of work! What site do you write for that pays upfront? is it open to persons in the United States? I have has a little success with Associated Content paying me small amounts upfront but they would not the last few articles. I think that there has been a change in management or policies.

At times, I feel that sites that pay upfront are better. You just have to work for an hour or so (or whatever it takes to write one nice article). Then upload the article get the payment and just forget about it. Now you have suggested to re-write the same article for the site that pays for pageviews? Your suggestions very much point out the same thing. Okay, so that is one thing to look forward to. I am also a member of Triond and you can read about my () experience elsewhere in this discussion. I know Triond earnings are very low and slow. Why not, the number of articles can be increased, but as you say, it is indeed a lot of work. The site that I write for and the one that pays upfront accepts and pays all members irrespective of the country. And by the way, who is going to reject the US when it comes to online earning? Why I get confused at times is the fact that with articles that pay for pageviews, we get a chance to keep earning the passive income. Our articles keep giving back to us, for life. When this thing comes to mind, I feel there is no use of writing for sites that pay upfront. What do you say?

Dear friend, I would choose both types of sites for writing.Among sites that pay upfront to Indians,I know of Factoidz.I am doing very well on Triond and through republishing my Triond articles elsewhere.I am enjoying writing as a freelancer. There are tactics to earn from writing and the greater number of article writing sites are those that pay you for views to your articles.Views do not always come naturally from the search engines so what we do is view each others' work and thus we earn!If you are interested I would be willing to introduce you to Triond Trends on Facebook.Look for the group there and you will find your earnings shooting.

Oh wow, that looks something really interesting and promising. I don't know about any such group on Facebook. I will most certainly go and visit the group. What is it about primarily? Are there all such writers who are members of the group? How many members are there? Do they all help each other in the same way? And when was it started? I am really getting excited and a lot of questions are in my head that need to be answered. There is another site that I am talking about in my discussion apart from Factoidz. By the way, I am also a member of Factoidz. But I think they are too strict with their rules. I submitted article to the site twice and got rejected both the times, though I had been selected after submitting a sample article. They don't even give particular reasons for the rejection. But if you are a member of the site, (which I do think you are), can you please tell me how does the site pay? I mean how much for a single article. I know there might be more things than one to decide the pay, but I only what to get an idea of the upfront payment. I have been a member of Triond for a few years now. But my experience is not at all good. Initially, they accepted my articles instantly. But later on, they kept rejecting for various reasons. I was really surprised. I always wrote up to the mark, but still there were rejection, rejections and only rejections and dejection (for me). I even showed the articles to some of the other members who were veterans on Triond and even they thought that the articles should have been passed. So I never turned back to the site. But tell me, can I use those articles elsewhere. I have not yet deleted them as I think, they can take me to the minimum payout.

It really seems inexplicable. I am finding everything apart from the group that you mentioned. I am sure I am searching for the one you are talking about. As far as your rules go, I am delighted to hear those. In fact, honesty is important. One member should reciprocate and help others as well. By the way, I have sent you my FB name in your message box. Please do have a look and do the needful as early as possible.

Some of the reputed writers of Triond are there in the group. The rules are strict and everyone who wants their own articles to be viewed is bound to view the articles of others.People are very honest there and I am loving my membership in this group. You could send me your Facebook id via PM so that I might add you to the group.Alternatively look for Triond Trends on Facebook.I am having a wonderful time with Triond.Sorry to hear your articles are getting rejected.I don't know what could be the possible reason for it.Actually they do look for quality work now.I am republishing my Triond articles and earning as well.

I thought it's too much for me to write in two different sites at the same time. I can imagined how busy you were with the ideas of writing. I acknowledge that I could not afford of writing in two different places at the same time together. I did not know how to suggest you what to do, since I haven't been writing on two different sites. I need tip and tricks how to write an article in other different places.

Yes, you got it right. It is a lot of tiring work and I am trying to find ways out of it. I fear for writer's block to set in. And sometimes I do come across it. That is dangerous as it wan potentially stop your work for the day. As far as I am concerned, I will not like that to happen. So, I am finding ways that will not only help me lessen the efforts but also pay me good. It is smart ways of earning that's what I am looking up to.

When you know that you need inspiration, why don't you try to motivate yourself. And what do you think can inspire you? Do you get inspired by other people's earnings? Or how much they are working on various sites? Why don't you write things when you are in your best spirits. I think that should do the job for you. I try to follow the same thing. When I am in the correct mood to work, I get going as fast as possible. Words flow out automatically. That is my experience after a couple of year's of work. But when I am down and out, I cannot even write on simpler topics.
