How much discussions do you start?

That's fine. It doesn't really matter actually whether it's 5 or 100 as long as your topic is something that had crossed your mind. I mean, that it wasn't plagiarized or copied from another discussion site or worse, from another myLot post. I can't even think of 5 topics to post in a day :)

I know thinking of all these topics is alot of work and responding to every discussion is even harder because I have to keep going back to old discussions it is pretty hard. I see now though that I really dont have to start alot of discussions responding is the key, thanks alot.

I agree it really doesn't matter, you can always participate in other discussions if you can think of your own discussion because if you just give yourself a "quota" on how many discussions you need to start in a day you will probably spend more of your time thinking about new topics rather than actually participating. I don't have a problem thinking of more discussions but I don't start so many discussions because sometimes (sometimes only) I feel lazy after commenting back to so many responses that my discussion received and I don't like the feeling of leaving other responses without a reply.@phillyguy (3005)

the key is focusing on "quality'. It's okay to start many discussions if you can easily think of good topics. But don't force yourself to create a specific number of discussions if you can't think of one just respond to other discussions sometimes through reading and responding to other discussions some ideas about new topics will just come to your mind. @phillyguy (3005)

Hi gram actually it's not about how many discussions you start in a day most senior members don't even start their own discussion in a week or even in a month. You can always respond to other discussions to earn money but of course starting your own discussion has some advantages too like if your discussion is good and interesting and get many responses you can comment back to those responses in one sitting which saves you time compared to looking for interesting discussions started by others.

Cool I was thinking about that if you start discussions that are good you can save time by just responding to your own. I didnt know that people went weeks and months without starting discussions though wow, im not gonna stress starting discussions so much anymore.

yeah it is really true that there are some senior members who don't start their own discussions in a month but they do participate in many discussions started by other members and I noticed that they always engaged in long conversations.

I think it doesn't matter how many discussions you've started but what matters is that you lead the discussions. You only earn if you keep the discussions alive. When I first started myLotting, I started only one discussion and in one day I earned almost 40cents with only one discussion because I would comment to all that reply to the discussion.

Wow thanks alot thats great advice. I have been hearing that you can make alot just responding but your right if you start quality discussions you can make alot of money just responding to your responses. That is great advice I will always remember to post discussions every day now.

It is not important here the quantity of discussions you start. But if you respond some quality answers on the discussions you can earn even more with that. I just start a discussions whenever I feel like doing so. Mostly I don't, its like 2 - 3 times in a week.

Really 2-3 times a week thats cool that means im not really gonna worry about starting them. Ima just start adding more quality to my responses. Thanks alot for the feedback.

Ok cool yeah I do have hundreds and hundreds of random questions always roaming trough my mind every day so I think starting discussions wont be a problem. Im just gonna make sure that everything is quality thanks for the feedback.

five day discussion good for you.
I think that it's not how you start a discussion how much quality you can get answers.
I let things be qualitative.
even less to write is important to quality and well appreciated.

I don't start any discussion at all daily.
I just respond to discussions and when I have something revelant to say I begin a discussion,the earning on this site is not about beginning a specific number of discussions, it is about to begin discussions of smart and interesting things, not about how much toilet do you use in your house or topics like that,
(I don't know if somebody have choose that topic and I am not making refence to any person in particular).
So what I can tell you is, don't get stress about the number of discussions just partcipate in mylot with quality discusions and answers and your will see your earning growing,but if your partipitions are poor like "I agree with" or "me too" or "you are right" those answers don't increase the quality of the discussions and I don't think can solve any discussion.
So the key on this site is Quality.

Yes thank you this is alot of help. Im going to start responding more of the time then if thats the main thing. I try and come up with the best discussions I can though and ive seen an increase in earnings because of that, thanks alot ima emphasize on quality and responses now.
