How to get stars for a discussion?

To get stars for the discussions you have to star discussions with quality and/or give quality answers.
The star next to your username represents your myLot reputation.
You will need a user rating of 100 before you are able to receive a reputation.
Your myLot Reputation rating takes into account various factors including the Discussion Ratings System (DRS) and is based on a scale of 0 to 10 stars with 10 stars being the highest.
Your star rating relies solely on the myLot users.
Your number goes up or down depending on how your discussion/responses are rated by the myLot community.

Yes. you have to get good rating from the mylot members. Similarly after 100 posts you can also rate the postings made by others. have a nice day.

the first star you get when you make 100 posts.
and then you'll see your star.

everything depends on having done within 100 post from you what will be the star you 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 are the stars you wish 10.

First you can have a star when you reach an activity rating of 100 (the number beside you username) while the number inside the star is base on the ratings that fellow mylotters gave to us.
