robert black - robert black - serial killer

I think someone is actually having me on today.. like really trying to take the piss out of me! Robert Black, serial child killer, is set to appeal his conviction? Are you JOKING ME?! He is currently serving multiple life sentances, he’ll probably ALREADY never get out of jail, let alone with this new sentence added to it for the murder of Jennifer Cardy in 1981, but that disgusting specimen is actually going to appeal it! Despite the fact he was found guilty of that murder and the jury delivered unanimous guilty verdicts. I can’t believe monsters like that are allowed to even dishonour that poor dead girl and her family by making any sort of a plea! What do you think of this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-15833358

I don't understand why we should keep, feed and guard such animals? It's expensive. Why they don't bring back Capital Punishment? They should in such cases. This monster is useless. And he never be ok to return to society. Why keep him? And this appeal will be costly as well.

Why this monster should be kept alive? He is dangerous for others, he would never be useful for society and we pay for keeping his alive to the rest of his pathetic life? What is the sense of it?

You know I think it is reprehensible that he can even attempt any appeals. I know the main stories and case involved with this guy. An abomination of a human as much as any other serial killer. That is personal though. In our society they have set up the appeals process so that every person has a chance to prove their innocence. It is meant to show that there is a fair and proper system in place. By allowing him to do this it shows a little compassion in the system towards its convicted. Now again personally I could care less. He was convicted with very hard evidence and the appeal should never be going anywhere. I also agree capitol punishment is very much a deserved action in his case.

but the "fair" justice system is allowing this man to try and prove he is innocent for a crime he most certainly did commit! and not only that but he has already admitted to it!! he actually described in court what he did to this poor girl.. so what the hell is he even appealing? my view on capital punishment is above ^

It is ridiculous isn't it? He makes an appeal which would (hopefully!) not come to anything but, theey should have a law that on certain sentences, they cannot even make an appeal. Liek you sya, the poor families would feel like he is mocking them and their family members.
