Anyone else playing the stock market?

so far in the past 3 yrs I've stuck with stocks that pay dividends though I did snab 1000 shares of gtw and cyro with hoped they'll hit $20 or $30 a share some day. Mainly I have WWE, PCU, F, VTO, TOPT, and SBR, all of which pay good dividends.

Yes, dividends are good... they give you some return on your money even if the stock isn't going up, and if you reinvest them they buy you more shares. It can be a real good plan, especially if you think long-term.

which stocks do you own? just curious where other people are putting their money... my main stocks are Ford and WWE, I'll probably hold them for many years

Thanks for best response...I'd totally forgotten about this discussion! Right now I'm in AT&T, Pfizer, Pepsi, and a few others-- mostly big-caps that pay dividend. And some mutual funds for small-cap and international exposure.

no, not yet. cause i don't understand about this and not have much money for this. But i have do in foreign exchange . just to learn it.

I don't know about foreign exchange but a good book to learn stock market and life in general is "More Money Now" by John Bradshaw Layfield, it changed my life...

Nope,never did understand just exactly how that worked.Not enough to invest money in it anyway.

Every stock I have invested in has gone in the toilet. So I am waiting for them to go up and I am cashing out.
