After receiving my first payout I feel it'll take me ages to reach payout again.

I received my first earning here last week and after that I've been inactive here for a while. I still keep visiting this site but I can't think of something to discuss and it's just that I've been busy with my job lately. I hope I can motivate my self and be more active here again.

I am in the same boat Jacruz25! Its been 3 long months and I haven't reached my threshold yet! Its because of my inactivity! I am facing some personal stuffs right now but I still manage to come to myLot so that I can cashout before the year ends! Good luck to everyone of us!

Hi brother! :) I was just busy shaping up my life OFFLINE! I'm trying different things, so, that's one of the reason I became not so active here.

I can understand your feeling quite well. It is not easy to earn a lot from Mylot in a short time. In the past when I was very active to post here, I could still reach the minimum payout every month. But I can't be so active any more. So it will spend me at least two months reaching the minimum payout here. Sometimes it will also spend a longer time. This is why I often check whether there is a suitable task for me to finish so that I can earn money faster. I love China

Yes it would feel that way especially if you keep on thinking about how much you earn from the post that you do. It seems like eternity. I have that thinking before. But I changed my point of view and every time I post here, I just enjoy and learn and not think of how many post. From there, I don't think much of the hardship and basically just appreciate what I have learned and what I have shared. The earning will just come along and it may come out as a surprise...

If you have no idea to post here. You can comment onto the discussion of others. This is what I do because I am always not on mood to write a discussion here... I know you can make it again, my friend...

You can find interesting discussions from the notification that myLot sends every day. Every day without fail I will receive the myLot Digest and that's where I found my way to this very discussion. So if you're not subscribed to myLot notification email, I suggest you do so. That way you can find great discussions to respond to.

Your title is funny "ages"...I am also busy but I see to it that whenever I open my e-mails, I see Mylot through my friends' started discussions and comment or reply on them.I even comment on its digest once I see it and if the topics interest me, I go for it and open one by one to join the discussions.Mostly my friends are the one benefiting with my participation because of my notifications from them and I hardly visit new discussions created by others unless incorporated in the digest. I do not want to trash the notifications because I see them as hardly earned pennies into a dollar and so I respond to each as I reduce the load of my inbox due to my other on-line earnings.

I just noticed that we earn more in creating discussions with content than replying discussions. I think it's easier to reply than create new discussion. At the same time completing tasks is also a good way to boost our earnings here.

Wow, I saw someone said they had to make 350 posts to make payout. That is amazing. I am really gonna have to stretch my noodle to get that much said. I have been wondering we have to do this to get the max payout in a day. Isn't it amazing how hard we will work for so little? I think it's more like a contest or game and that is what makes it interesting to us.

Yeah, it really adds up to our earnings the percentage we get from the posts our referrals did. I've been here for almost 2 years now and still only have 1 referral. But I'm not sad though because it's really hard to convince our friends or other people to be our referrals unless they earn much for doing easy tasks. Anyway, I enjoy being here because I find the community friendly and also love posting to discussions I can relate with and in doing so I earns too.

I have often felt the same way. I got my first payout about a month after I signed up for the site. Then I was inactive for over a year. I don't remember why I became active again, but I made payout for the second time about two months of activity. Then I was inactive for about two years. On that go, I got paid four or five times because I had a lot of time on my hands. I was in the hospital for surgery for about 10 days and had no trouble keeping up with my online school work. Over the next six months I did pretty good except when I was actually getting chemo. Now (a year later) I am getting chemo again and I am taking a break from school for a few weeks trying to recover enough that I can finish my last three courses. I have decided to try to catch up with seven months of discussions that have been piling up in a folder in my email box. Maybe I will make payout again in the next month or two. I hope you are able to get more active again too. Just look at a lot of discussions to see if you can respond. You don't always have to create discussions. If you do create them, make sure you respond to the responses as well! Have a great week!!!

I agree with you,i too feel the same.It takes alot of time to reach the payout. If we have atleast 2 or 3 active referrals then we can earn better and fast. But its very hard to get active referrals. So,the best way is to plan and work accordingly.Try to reply or start discussions atleast 3 to 5 per day and gradually increase the number then you can earn fast.

The last time I received payment from myLot is in February 2011 and I think I will reach payout this month. I have only a few cents more to go to reach $10. But after that I don't know when I will get payment. It is certainly very slow earning at myLot. But recently, I've joined one forum exchange website where members earn on average 9cents per post. I participated for three days and I received payment within 3 days which I find so amazing. That was the fastest earning site I've come across but the site is very strict and can be quite complicated for newbies. It's best to join the site under an experienced member so that you can start earning on the site.

wow really amazing, you got your payout in just making 350 posts and I am still more than 70% less to reach the payout. And my posts count is more than you right now. Wow amazing. Needs to learn how to mylot.

hehehe... but i think you will get your payout again Jacruz. maybe now, you are only not focusin here because of something. maybe you have problem till make you dont get any idea for start a discussion. lets be more active, and take a payout again. maybe you can make a target that will motivate you. i think it will not take so long time if you have target. maybe you want something that can be your targets. keep on your effort and try thinking clearly. you will get many ideas. cheers

If you meant you just received your first payment then I don't understand how wouldn't stay motivated to accumulate more earnings! Other than that, if you've received your first couple of cents, I do understand how morale can be low! I really don't make much here but I'm keeping my mind dedicated to a nice first cashout that I will use effectively reinvest! It does take some time to accumulate earnings, but I seem to be doing a good job at it right now!

At first I was really motivated seeing my earnings grow and until i'm nearing minimum payout. The only thing different now is that when I got my first payout my earnings went back to a few cents and I'm thinking it'll take me ages to reach payout again specially these days where I'm kind of busy with my job and I'm running out of discussions lately.

Now I am really inspired to post here in MyLot more often reading that you guys have already cashed out! But I think that it will still be a very long way before I get mine. LOL! I basically like posting on threads. Is it better to post my own thread or does it count just the same when answering to threads? I really need to learn more from here.:)

How are you Jacruz25, Your motivation to be active can really turn good if you will set it to be your inspiration. Hence this will give you an idea to write and post discussions. But, since you already have a job, perhaps, you would not be needing to focus more on this, as you already have a fixed-income job. And you need not to face on-line every now and then to earn. Unlike me, that I need to earn that much doing on-line job because my desk job work was already end up. Nevertheless, you really need an extra for some expenses.

It also took me a few months to reach my first payout, but it was a moment which motivated me to be more active on mylot, and after using the search engine regularly I reached the payout every two months;it's true that I also have moments when I feel uninspired and I don't find interesting discussions to reply to,so there are periods when I reduce my activity here on mylot.Anyway, eventually I come back here after a few days or whenever I feel willing to discuss,so I'm sure you will do the same and you will find the motivation to be more active and reach the second payout faster than you expect.

I get the same feeling with some of the sites that I am on. I am on several. And there are a few when after I get paid, I feel like I will never reach cashout again. And it seems to go very slowly until I am past the halfway mark and then it seems to pick up. And one day, I am ready to cashout again. Be glad that you have a job to be busy with and a regular paycheck. That needs to be your first priority. I would hate to be dependent on my online sites to earn a living. Mylot will be here whenever you have time and energy to visit. You posted today and got many responses. That should keep you happily mylotting for a while.
