Where will life lead me? Have you ever asked yourself that?

Well, I am at a point in my life that this questions pops up and makes more points over the question "What will I get this Christmas?". I am confused. I seek answers that anyone cannot easily provide. Only me perhaps, only me. How about you fellow mylotters?

where will life lead me ,this question is a very high one,we should not get it attached to the small thing like what will i get for this christmas or some thing like that. Life is a beautiful thing which we got .We should decide or the life decides what we had to do.We can not know where life will take us or where we take the life towards . The answer for the life is a complicated one,no one can know it until they reach their end of their life.

I must agree with you there. Forgive the comparison. I am just in the middle of a confused streak. I know our own choices defines who we aim to be and it defines the outcome of many of our circumstances. Present-day choices may make a big difference tomorrow. I simply wish I be led to a fulfilling path by His Divine hand.

Yes, we are indeed bound with choices. The choices we make defines us and what is chosen leads us to a definite path. :)

don't you like surprises? well, i believe that whatever we plant, we will reap. if you do good things, you will be rewarded. and santa claus knows that. we know we deserve better as we age. we have to reward ourselves for our worthwhile activities. good things will happen to us.

I don't know much about Santa Claus' surprise for me but this I know: karma. What good we share, comes back to us many-fold. :)

When you are older you will discover that the answers to your questions are totally irrelevant. It's how you proceed along your life's journey that matters.

How I proceed? That's a bit thought-provoking mstickle. :( Oh! How will I proceed form hereon? Only I know and what course of action I decide matters.

You know where you were born and all about your lifetime up to now but the future is a mystery. Life can have its ups and downs. You could have one type of living at the moment but then life could change considerably for you. You might know your wishes for the future but only time will tell if you can achieve them all. Traveling has been one theme in my life and I hope that it is going to continue. I wish to visit one to three new countries every year for the rest of my life. I hope that your life is happy and will stay that way leading you in a positive direction. Good luck.

"I hope that your life is happy and will stay that way leading you in a positive direction" made me cry. Thank you. I admire your fearlessness in living life. I wish to travel too and be able to indulge myself in a variety of culture. Learn new things. Discover and be amazed by new places. Recently, I simply got the idea of trying out my luck to work in a cruise ship. It involves traveling and most of all, I am in a job. Hopefully, I would be able to find a good one and apply and get hired. Staying hopeful though. I am a nurse and I hope to be able to pursue my dreams at the same time, making the dreams of my parents come true too..Thank you maximax8.

Oh yes...I have asked myself that many times and I still ask myself that. There have been so many paths and changes in my life and they are just beginning. I have to say that life for me has been quite the roller coaster. Sometimes there things that we can't control but to be honest, those things have been some of the most influencing factors in my life. They lead to things we would have never imagined. Good luck finding your way.

I thank you Jen. I haven't gotten far with what I have managed of knowing so far. I have made my partial decision for now and I plan to stand by it. God knows what the other half means. Only He knows. Luck and prayers definitely would get me to where the grass is greener, though it still has to be mowed. I know it is still sweeter on the other side. :)

Almost every year i've asked myself where will my life lead me. What meaningful things have i done this year? Have i been productive? Have i been stagnant? Have i grown into a better person? Where will my life lead me? What does the future hold? Those are the questions that i constantly ask myself when i'm alone. Have I answered them all? Nope and i'm still in the middle of the quest.

Miss Toni, I guess we are on the same boat. I have been asking myself those questions of late and apparently the answers are just as elusive. People say that answers come in time. Will it really come or should we go after it? But in the first place, where shall we begin? And yet another question.

emjay86, One of the things I do not dwell on is the unforeseen future, you may call me a pragmatic but I am sure you will agree with me that the future will never be in our grasp. Most importantly, it is really beyond us to control or materialize. However, I would live up the present to the fullest, dwelling on whatever good or needed to be done. Caring and loving to my most capable ability not only for my love ones but for the challenging ones as well. After all, they are part of what would and is going to take place on our near and distant future. Besides, it is a fact that when we control the present we are already doing our part to make the world a better place because we control our past at the end of the day. In the words of George Orson: “He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future.”

I agree with you on that. The future will always remain a mystery and as such the definitive beauty of living slowly unfolds and how we perceive it is of great value. I wish to take part in the present. Loving and living to the fullest but I am bound by my fears and my own conscience. It has always been my innermost thought never to undertake anything that may mar the family's name. I know it is weird. We are nowhere famous, rich and all but many people look up to us as an ideal family and I plan to keep it that way. Never mind the praises. It simply feels good to know that within the family, love is abound, support is felt and promoted.
