I have a paypal account by using which i once paid to a company. But it is not verifed. It shows the money receiving limit of 1900$ per year and same limit for sending money. I am not sure that if i can receive money in that accout. So, can anyone tell me that if i can receive money in that account or not. And will i be charged for the verification. How much time it will take for the verification?

It is advisable to get your Paypal account verified as soon as possible. However, being un-verified should not prevent it from receiving money. Unless Paypal has a different rule in Bangladesh. I am not aware of any verification charge. You can verify your account using your bank account or credit/debit card. You can use virtual credit card for verification.

Actually i use the paypal account that i created from UK. Bangladeshi government does not allow paypal account. I would go for the verification process i guess. I wonder when bangladeshi government will allow the paypal account.

I'm sure they'll open it soon. I started using Paypal from the UK too, well, the account I made in UK in my husband's name. Then we moved to India, India did not allow Paypal at that time. When they started, I could only use it for receiving and paying online. I could not withdraw to bank account.

I wish Bangladeshi government would allow having paypal account here as well. It would be easier for lots of bangladeshi people working online. Hope that will be soon.

Yes you can recieve money on that account with the said limitation. There is a charge for verfication and that would be around 1.5 USD. It normally takes up to 5 business days for the verifiecation. If you have a debit card, much better, Just make sure that the last name and first name on your paypal account match with the one on your bank account.
