This discussion may only be answered by people in the Philippines for this has something to do with a local TV program called "Face to Face" in which people who have issues with relatives and friends come to get some help but who end up beating each other physically and verbally. I don't know with you, but man, do I really enjoy this a lot more than I enjoy a boxing match of Pacquiao and his opponent. I know that there are many others who are also hooked up to this TV show, are you also one of us?

This is almost exactly like "The Jerry Springer Show." I hope they had permission from the producers of that show, but I have a feeling they don't. Filipinos are very smart and creative. I don't know why there are still those who love to copy things and pass it as their own. It really just disappoints me.

Is that really a rip-off from the Jerry Springer show? I haven't watched the latter so I do not know. I thought that it is something that only happens in Pinas. LOL

I would kinda agree that is like the Jerry springer Show, expect that perhaps it more controlled and less muted, in terms of action and intensity of arguments. Springer does produce some violent fights and less than pleasant words.

I know! We are the masters of imitation and we are so lazy to innovate. Maybe that's one reason why our country has not been really progressing.

At first I thought every case in Face to Face is scripted. But when my mom (who is a car agent) had a client from that TV station, she was told that they really put a lot of time and effort to research about those people who have issues with others. They go to every barangay in our country to look for people who have the most interesting situations. I personally do not enjoy that show. I don't know why people have the guts to broadcast their issues nationwide. And I find those people cursing at each other pathetic. I don't know what is the real objective of the show? Are they there for entertainment or social awareness or to corrupt the minds of young people that ahouting and cursing at each other is a normal thing to do. Of course these are all just my personal opinions. I have nothing against people who enjoy that show.

I also love the face to face movie...it's not that we're war freak. It's just we love face to face situations.I think "face to Face" is a scripted drama.

I don't watch this show because I feel that they are just using their guests and their respective issues just to get more viewers and additional ratings. If their primary objective is to help in solving conflicts, I really think that other ways can be used. Don't let the guests physically or verbally hurt each other. Don't we have enough violence on TV? Just my two cents :)

face to face is really entertaining especially on its earlier episodes. a picture of the real situations in our country,if you will. but i must say, i observed these days,it feels like scripted already, the drama and the physical things.oh well, its still informative anyways.

Scripted like many reality shows? I hate to think that something is scripted.
