Vampire Diaries VS Twilight

I don't know about you, but I have become a huge fan of the Vampire Diaries. I spent three days watching the series on Netflix since it is now streaming and have become totally hooked. I don't if it is Paul Wesley or Ian Somerhault that has me all hot and bothered but it definitely has more to it than Twilight. The plot is so much better than Twilight. And the script is way better too. I like the whole two brothers fighting for the girl instead of a werewolf and vampire. Plus with The Vampire Diaries, the chick doesn't want to be a vampire, she wants to remain human and start a family. She is definatly a stronger character than Bella. Anyways, who else likes this show and cant wait for the next episode which doesn't air until Jan.?

My husband and I watch Vampire Diaries religiously every Thursday night. I can't wait for the next episode. I love the show and story line. I also can't complain that they have 2 hot brothers and a hot girl playing the main characters. Paul Wesley is a hottie but there is something about Ian and those dang eyes of his! Yummy Yummy!
I have to say though, I like Twilight as well. I've read all the books and watched all the movies (except the newest one).

what do you think will happen in Jan? I think Kluas will take revenge on Stefan by getting to Elana then Damon will say how he has Rebecca and it will go off in that direction for a bit while Damon and Elana hook up, Stefan will come back in and have to win Elane back all over again while Tyler and the blonde will be on and off and Jeromy and Bonnie will get back once Jeromy gets over his ex's. Then again it could be something completely different. I heard they are bringing in more originals, so who knows. I really hate getting involved in television series and haven't since Heroes, but this is definitely fun to watch. Can't wait till January.

I kinda hope that Elana and Damon hook up just because Stefan's been such an butt. He needs to be taught a lesson. However, her heart will always belong to Stefan..or at least I think it will LOL. There are So many twists the story can take and I can't wait.

Hello there!
You are comparing the two, did you know that Vampire Diaries is a Series in a which being shown in TV only on a scheduled day and time while Twilight Saga is a story based on a book which being made as a movie, so there is a big difference between the two and even in the story. If you're going to read the whole Twilight Saga Book you will understand the story because in the movie they just get some of the highlights in it because of time limitation. I do watch Vampire Diaries I do like the actors but I will not compare it to Twilight because the two is different.

In you're first sentence you sound as if Vampire Diaries is not based on a book like the Twilight books are but that's not correct. Vampire Diaries is also based on a series by L.J. Smith.

My daughter loves this show(VD).. I don't really like vampire shows and i prefer action.. 
But based from my observations, Vd is better since I have heard a lot of negative comments about Twilight, even my daughter said that she was disappointed in it, while she continued watching Vampire Diaries and was quite hooked to it.

i don't like vampire diaries to much but i do love twilight. i just recently started watching the movies of twilight and there actually good. i thought before that they where going to be boring but there good. :-)
