I have not been responding lately as my computer died. I can read your posts on my BB so I do know what is happening in your lives. Both Ellie and Ann have been very busy. Kat, I am glad that the job is going ok and you always make me smi;e. Antique Lady has been quiet but we exchange emails regularly. Hatley still ove to read your posts. Ambie - don't forget me neither sid, saphrina and a you other wonderful friends. Carmenlanire and gardengerty - am reading yourposts and everyone else's too. Have taken meds for ain so feeling a bit floaty but I am writing this lying down. Bounce - I am a bit worried about you. You need some Cynthiann advice:) Life can change in a flash and so much has been happening. First, I was offeed a new job and was all set to taking it but the contract was not good so I dithered. Basically they could gve me 4 weeks notice and where I am working, this could not happen. Secondly, I found a thingy at the top of my breast and this has now been removed and sent for testing. I had it done last Wednesday. The price was awful and I am in negotiations with my heath insurance company. In view of above, I did not take the new job as the one that I am in would be more sympathetic with illness. An owner spoke to my boss and he has been okay with me.I actualy raised my voice to him and told him to give me some space. Man I was brave that day. But it was the fifth call on the day I was seeing the surgeon and arrangingfor blood tests. Then the election will be just after Christmas but before New Year. Thank you PM for ruining our Christmas. We have a brand new PM - young and being presented as a 'new beginning'. The campaign is now getting fierce and my son is now more visible. The bar for visibiity has now been raised. His strategy was to have a low profile these past few years as he formed a power base. However, his opponent is beginning to use pork barrel poitics so we do not now the outcome. He is ahead in the polls but, as the people are hungry and jobless, we are praying that they will not give in and sell their vote. Certain monied people came to my son and him and offered a few million to back his campaign but they wanted their pound of flesh in return and he refused their offer. So we go forward, without two cents to rub together but the important thing is that we are going forward I admire hs principles so much and pray continuosly that he will win. Where we live is the poorest part of our country. 43% living below US$2.30 a day Island wide but where we ive it is much worse. I know that it is hard world wide but we have no unemployment benefits tohelp cuswhion the blows. So I help him as much as possible but it is getting tense as the stupids are out in this silly season with regard to all parties. It will be a close election but we are hoping for victory. I will try to use my son's pc to respond but my house is now command centre and it is in constant use. I miss you all. I have become so close and developed wonderful friendships with many of you. I really miss you all. So have you missed me?

Thank you Jill. The Dr. thinks it is nothing. I think that it is that I am worrying more about my son. People are so poor - I think that I may be tempted to sell my vote too if I was in their position

Yes, of course I have missed you, and I was hoping it was because you were blessed with a free vacation and was off having fun.. So basically your new job fell through, you are having some health issues, and financial problems? Sounds like a good reason to pray for you for some turn around.. Thank you for reading my posts, I hope some make you smile and feel better... I am off now to let the neighbor's dog out, but will be back tomorrow..:)

Are you kidding, you'd have to unfriend me first.. You were a good friend, even when you didn't know me. I think I still have your number, if you need a listening ear, I can call you sometime tomorrow, but we'd have to sort out the time change and everything, don't want to call at 2 AM..

Hi, cynthiann Great to see you back. We are so used to Internet and if we lose the connection, we feel kind of lost.. The power went of a couple of times here yesterday and came back. Reminds of how much we depend of electricity.. How did people manage before we had electric lights? I guess they followed the sun much more and that must have been a healthier way to live.. Looks like many of us are kind of addicted to myLot..!?:)

Thank you so much, welcome to comment the discussions when you have time and opportunity! We should aways respect each other, and God has given us a free will! And in the end, the only thing that matters is not what we think, but what He has planned for us.. Have a great day!

Sounds like you made the right decision about the job. You have a great job minus the stress of your boss, and perhaps he will treat you differently now that you have stood up to him and the owners have had a talk with him. My foster mom used to have a saying. "This too shall pass". I know it seems stressful and upsetting now, but it will all be over soon. I hope your tests turn out fine, and I hope the election goes your way too. Keep us posted as much as you can! Just curious, why are you so worried about Bounce?

Hey! I wasn't ignoring your post! It's just funny that right about the time you disappeared, I was off and away too. Yes, I do need a lot of Cynthiann advice! I can't even think where to begin... Anyway, I didn't read the rest of the responses here (as I was so excited to respond after seeing my name!), but I do hope that you are better healthwise. And I hope that everything is still fine at the job front (even after the raising of voice-incident). And I do wish your son success. As I know that for lesser individuals, that few-million dollar offer would have been enough to give the pound-of-flesh and give up the principles. May victory be his (and yours too)!

Thanks Bounce. I am glad that you are o.k. Still not around much. Busy writing letters for legal campaign contributions. lol. Nomination day is next Monday so I will take the day off to see my son nominated. His supporters will be out in force. It is getting very nasty. I pray and hope that he will win. He is dealing with so much crap at present as well as campaigning and I see qualities in him that his father possessed. The calmness and the compassion, the encouraging word and most of all hope. Thank you Bounce again, I so appreciated your response.

Good to see your post, and I know what it is like to not be as active as I have not been able to be as active as well. It is hard to keep up with everyone, and you did mention a lot of people I follow here as well. No matter what remember we are always wishing the Best for you, and try to come here and post as you can.

I am on and off due to my own personal problems so I kind of miss everyone on mylot too but I guess money problem is very common these days I don't let it bother me anymore I know there are a lot of people out there suffer more than I do I have health problem but nothing like cancer/tumor or anything that needs removal I don't have health insurance either national health care doesn't cover many things it used to cover from what I heard I hope everyone that is not well, that they can recover enough to keep working without pain there are poor people in my homeland too and more people without income here since recession. I just hope year by year things will improve somehow.

You are right - we all have our problems to get through. I do have some health insurance so I hope that they will cough up. The greed of some men have caused total havoc throughout the world causing world wide poverty

Oh wow! Well i think you and I have both been quiet lately. It seems you've had a lot going on with you and your family. I am praying for you! On a side note, I could never raise my voice to a boss, I'm too chicken butt for it, I'd endure until it made me quit, not always the best thing either. Hoping your son wins over the others! You know I'm not much for politics so I won't go on about it, but I do hope you can get online soon and catch up a bit. I've a job, you knew that, applied for a low income apartment, hoping to hear back soon.

Yes ma'am, I've definitely missed you I love the witty comments that you always have on discussions that I've started and I also love reading the discussions that you've started because you always have something that is really important and fun to say. I certainly hope that you will be able to let us know what is going on with the tissue that you had removed once the results are in for you. Love and hugs.

hi dear Cynthie you see how much time has pssed till I could answer you now. Sigh. With me being in my old hometown over the week and working there and only having a tablet PC which just is good enough for reading a bit, and real quick internet access at home for the weekends, the notifications have built up. Now I have this week off, almost all Christmas Mail except the electronic cards are on their way sooooo I take the time to clean up a little online. Hope you are better by now. I wish you could have gotten the other job you turned down to escape your Boss who is rude and over demanding as well and I am sad for you that you cant get out of that rut.
