usually malls would have movies at the price of $4.50 in the philippines. but along those movies with that price they sometimes give one movie at a cheap price like $0.50 only. but the movies that is shown is not that popular. but still being shown in big malls. most those watching are students who can't afford to pay for normal price of movie tickets. but i have not tried to watch that cheap movies on the cinema because they were just showing horror and scary movies, i am not into such movies. yesterday i saw the movie shown on cheap movie has a picture of lady with a cobra on his mouth. so scary. ha ha. don't want to actualy see a bit of that movie. i don't think i could even listen to the movie. i may close my eyes through out the movie. and yet i will still be terrified with the noice or voice in the movie. so i don't want to watch on that no matter how cheap the price is.

WOW that is cheap for a movie at the mall theaters. Here in Colorado we have many types of places to be able to watch a movie such as drive in's, movie theaters, Super Cinema's, and some smaller viewing's in the mall but only one mall in my city that does that. The only time you can find a cheap movie under 7-8 dollars is during the matanee time which is middle of the day and I think even then it's like 5.00. Our theater food is HIGHLY expensive too. I went with myself & two kid's and it cost me $100.00 to get three tickets and food and drinks. RIDICULOUS I won't go to the movies for that reason.

In my city it takes me about $10 for one ticket and food and drinks together to watch a movie.there're two mall theaters and one is nearly from my home.Around midnight the prices of tickets reduce to $2.5,it is very cheaper than other places over the world.

Oh I know it's outrageous. I remember the dollar cinema's back when I was much younger. I just take in a large purse, fill it with popcorn made at home, snacks, candy and drinks to try to save money. I trully have no desire to see any movie so bad that I have to see in a theatre. I'd rather rent a movie at home for one dollar with the REDBOX or just wait until it's out on cable ya know.

Here in Sri Lanka, movies are allowed only in registered theaters. With all facilities it cost about 3 dollars which is a very reasonable price. We are yet to have a permanent theater dedicated to 4G movies.

yes it is still an affordable price indeed. although i still don't want to watch movies that often if the price is $3. i hope it will just be like $2.
