I see rainbows that are straight and slanted in
the sky. I don't remember seeing a full curved
rainbow yet.

Rainbows are always an arc of a perfect circle because raindrops are near perfect spheres and light is refracted (and reflected) within them at an exact angle for each colour. It is ONLY the light from certain raindrops which happen to be at exactly the right angle to our eye which we see to be refracting a particular colour. All the other raindrops are, of course, refracting the light in exactly the same way but we don't see the image of the sun in them because the light from them is not directed towards our eyes.
If you move from one place to another, the rainbow will also appear to move and it will ALWAYS be centred on the shadow of your head

the rainbows ,why are they curved, because its like a bow it shows up to be like a rain bow.I know the name came after the formation of it and the shape it had.
It can be because the earth is round so the atmosphere around the earth is a round thing so when the rain falls to the ground the atmosphere shows up such rainbow for our viewing. The light passing through the water droplets causes rainbow. We can see the seven colours ,Actually when we go near to a rainbow we can not touch it or the colours.have a nice day.
